Sandslash Deck (Starter) Strategy

  1. Start with a Pokemon that Attacks with 1 Energy
  2. Evolve Your Pokemon
  3. Battle with Evolved Pokemon
Start with a Pokemon that Attacks with 1 Energy
  1. Farfetch
  2. Hitmonchan

Choose a Pokemon with a 1 Energy attack, like Farfetch'd or Hitmonchan, to place in the Active Spot. If you can evolve quickly, consider starting with Mienfoo or Sandshrew as well.

Evolve Your Pokemon
  1. Mienfoo
  2. Rattata
  3. Sandshrew

When you draw Mienfoo, Rattata, or Sandshrew, place them on the Bench to prepare them for evolution. Attach Energy as needed so they can attack right after evolving.

Battle with Evolved Pokemon
  1. Mienshao
  2. Raticate
  3. Sandslash

Once evolved, bring your Pokemon to the Active Spot and attack. Mienshao and Raticate both use only 1 Energy for their attacks, allowing them to strike early. Sandslash has the highest HP and Attack damage in this deck, making it an ideal mid-to-late game attacker.
