Salandit (Mythical Island) Pros and Cons

50 Damage for 1 Energy

Salandit's attack normally deals only 10 damage for 1 Energy, but if the opponent is Poisoned, the damage increases significantly to 50. Since it uses Colorless Energy, it should be paired with Pokemon that can inflict Poison.

Can Be Used Without Evolving

Its evolution, Salazzle, can inflict Poison but requires Fire Energy. Since there are few Fire-type Pokemon that inflict Poison, using only Salandit while allocating Energy to Poison-inflicting Pokemon is a viable strategy.
