Easy-to-Use Stage 1 Pokemon

Salazzle has 80 HP and an attack that deals 30 damage for 1 Energy while also guaranteeing Poison. This makes it one of the stronger 1-Energy attacks. It also pairs well with its pre-evolution, Salandit, making it a solid choice.

Strong When Evolved Early

Since its attack only requires 1 Energy, evolving on your second turn going first is very effective. If conditions align, such as hitting for Weakness, it can even One-Hit KO a Basic Pokemon.
