How to Get Gyarados

	- Get it from Genetic Apex Pikachu Pack - Redeemable for 150 Pack Points
	- Get it from Genetic Apex Pikachu Pack - Redeemable for 400 Pack Points

You can obtain Gyarados from the booster pack Genetic Apex Pikachu. Alternatively, it can be exchanged for 150 Pack Points.

Gyarados Pros and Cons

Able to Discard Opponent's Energy

Gyarados' Attack has an effect that can be used to discard one random Energy from your opponent's active Pokemon. It requires 4 Energy to use, so it takes quite a while to prepare.

Works Well with Misty

When Misty is used, Toss coins until you get tails and attach Water Energy equal to heads for Energy Acceleration. By doing so, you will be able to generate firepower more quickly.

High Retreat Cost is the Weakness

Gyarados requires 4 Energy to retreat which is a lot, and while preparing on Bench, if the opponent use Sabrina, you may not be able to do anything. While you are preparing the Pokemon, have Pokemon that can be switched from the Bench.
