Phantasio's attacks become dramatically more powerful by stacking Adagio with his Recitativo skill and activating his ultimate to enter Bestial Fury form.

Ideal for Boss Encounters

Phantasio excels in fights where you can prepare bursts by building his Adagio stacks and then attacking when enemies are vulnerable. He is highly effective in boss battles or critical moments, but his damage is less consistent against fast-moving groups of enemies.

How to Unlock or Get Phantasio?

Unlock Through Nocturnal Echoes: Beast From the Snowfield

Currently, the only way to get Phantasio's Secret Letter is by clearing Nocturnal Echoes: Beast From the Snowfield at Lv. 80. The Secret Letter is a guaranteed drop, but the amount you get will be random.

Only 5 Completion Rewards Per Week

Nocturnal Echoes have a limit to how many times you can get rewards from them. Each week, you can only get 5 chances of getting their rewards. This limit is shared out across all the Nocturnal Echoes.

Phantasio deals damage during his Ultimate form that doesn't use weapons but deals Skill DMG. Wanewraith is a weapon that can boost Skill DMG to boost Phantasio's damage output.

Blast Artistry

Phantasio doesn't have a Skill Duration on his Ultimate so the usual weapons for Ultimate-reliant characters don't work for him. Instead, a stat stick weapon like Blast Artistry allows him use less Sanity and increase his ATK.

As Combat Partner, Phantasio is better used with a Sanity-efficient weapon like Blast Artistry since Wanewraith only boosts his Skill DMG.

When playing as Phantasio, players will want to have his Ultimate activated as much as possible. To do this, players can follow our build which maximizes his damage while his Ultimate is active, or alternatively, maximize his Sanity for an ATK Boost, and easier Sanity management.

Like mentioned above, Illusionary Sacrifice is present for the Skill DMG boost, but note that Phantasio cannot trigger criticals during his Ultimate.

Wanewraith's main purpose in this build is to function as a stat stick by providing Skill DMG.

Furthermore, we have also included Piercing Ascent, which can be used as a movement tool by using charged attacks to dash a short distance in the direction you are facing. When paired with Swift Momentum, this makes it much more convenient to use it as a means for enhanced movement.

Phantasio typically fights in his [Bestial Fury] state, and does not benefit from DWs attached to weapons, which makes Excresduo another stat stick that is slotted only for the increased Skill DMG. Therefore, a generic ranged weapon build will work well enough in most cases.

Focus on Morale, Skill DMG, and Sanity

Phantasio's fights primarily using his Ultimate, which consumes a lot of Sanity. Since Umbro characters don't have dedicated Covenanter Skill DMG DWs, we've opted to go for Morale and ATK. Note that you could also go for Sanity, which his passive can translate into more damage.

To offset the Sanity costs of always using his Ult, we've opted for Wings ∙ Inspo, and even though he cannot crit, Illusionary Sacrifice provides much needed Skill DMG when paired with Wanewraith and Excresduo.
