How to Use Lucario

Powerful Ability That Boosts Damage

Lucario’s Ability increases the damage of your Fighting Pokemon’s Attacks against the opponent’s Active Pokemon by 20. Just having Lucario on the field enhances damage output, making it a strong way to compensate for Fighting Type’s lack of damage.

+40 Damage if Two Are in Play

Since Lucario’s Ability does not state that it cannot stack, having two Lucario in play will increase the bonus to +40 damage.

Attack is Slightly Underwhelming

Lucario’s Attack deals 40 damage for 2 Energy, which is a bit low for a Stage 1 Pokemon. However, with its Ability, the damage can be boosted to 60–80.
