Hippopotas Pros and Cons

High HP for a Basic Pokemon

Hippopotas has 80 HP, which is quite high for a Basic Pokemon. Its Attack deals 60 damage with 3 Energy, which is somewhat weak, so as your deck becomes more developed, it may become difficult to justify including it.

High Retreat Energy

Hippopotas requires 3 Energy to retreat, making it harder to escape from the Active Spot. If it cannot battle after evolving, consider using it as a wall instead.
