Cures Special Conditions

When a Pokemon equipped with Lum Berry is affected by a special condition such as Asleep or Paralyzed, Lum Berry will automatically be discarded at the end of the turn, curing the status condition. This healing occurs before the Pokemon Checkup phase.

List of Special Conditions

Low Priority for Now

Against decks that don't use status conditions, Lum Berry offers little benefit, making its priority for deck inclusion low. It's mainly used with Pokemon like Skarmory or Pachirisu ex that benefit from boosts from Pokemon Tools.

Potential Future Synergies

If a Pokemon that inflicts special conditions as a downside to their attacks are introduced, Lum Berry could become a valuable addition to decks. Being able to cure special conditions such as Asleep or Paralyze, which restrict actions, would offer significant benefits.
