Chansey Pros and Cons

Highest HP among Basic Pokemon

Chansey stands out with an impressive HP of 120 for a Basic Pokemon. It is one of the highest HP among Single-Prize Pokemon and can serve as a solid wall.

Generally Used as a Disposable Pokemon

Chansey requires 3 Energy to retreat, making retreating impractical in most situations. Once in the Active Spot, it often ends up just being a target, unable to do anything. Consider whether to use it carefully, especially when facing Pokemon that can attack the Bench, which could be a worst-case scenario.

Attack Performance is Lacking

Chansey's Attack does only 60 damage with 3 Energy, which is not very high. It can only function as a backup attacker in emergencies, so it's better to avoid using Chansey as the central focus of your strategy.
