Golisopod Pros and Cons

Stage 1 Pokemon with High HP

Golisopod has 120 HP, and its attack costs 3 Energy to deal 60 damage. However, if Golisopod was on the Bench and became the Active Pokemon this turn, the attack deals 120 damage instead. For a Stage 1 Pokemon, it has relatively high HP.

Great When Combined with Leaf's Effect

Golisopod’s attack deals reduced damage if used repeatedly from the Active Spot. However, if you can move it to the Bench using Leaf’s effect, then bring it back to the Active Spot, it can deal 120 damage again. Against opponents with high HP, Golisopod can also serve as a wall, making full use of the Energy you’ve invested in it.
