Barry Deck - Pros / Cons

  1. Temporary Energy acceleration is possible with Barry.
  2. Has a wide range of options for the opening turn.
  3. Overall HP is slightly low.

Temporary Energy Acceleration is Possible With Barry

  1. Heracross
  2. Barry
  3. Staraptor (Triumphant Light)

Barry can temporarily reduce the Colorless Energy cost to attack the target Pokemon by 2. This allows for continuous pressure, such as dealing heavy damage with ヘHeracross on the first turn or preventing Staraptor from attacking due to insufficient Energy

Has a Wide Range of Options for the Opening Turn

Basically, you'll need to evolve in order, starting with Starly, and attack as needed. However, if you have Barry, you can unexpectedly deal 50 damage (120 if you're lucky) with Heracross on the 1st or 2nd turn. Both strategies work well with your opening setup, and their strength lies in the wide variety of opening plays they offer.

Overall HP is Slightly Low

Heracross has 100 HP, and Staraptor has 150 HP, but each time you use an attack, you also take damage, so their overall durability is not that high. Be sure to include some form of recovery to increase your endurance.
