Standard Stats for a Stage 2 Pokemon

Staraptor has 140 HP and deals 80 damage for 3 Energy, making it a standard Stage 2 Pokemon. While its HP and Attack damage may seem slightly underwhelming for a Stage 2, its additional effect makes up for it.

Powerful Attack Effect

Staraptor’s Attack prevents the opponent’s Pokemon from retreating after being hit. Since most Pokemon can only switch via "retreat," this effect often ensures a guaranteed knockout, making it a very powerful Attack.
