You can obtain Caterpie from the booster pack Genetic Apex Pikachu. Alternatively, it can be exchanged for 35 Pack Points.

Caterpie Pros and Cons

Great Draw Support for Grass Pokemon

Caterpie has relatively low HP at 50, but it can add Grass-type cards from your deck to your hand with its Attack. It can also target Evolve cards, making it especially useful in Grass decks that focus on Stage 2 Pokemon, including itself.

Can Be Used Without Evolution Line

If you prefer to prioritize the evolution of other Grass Pokemon, you can choose not to include the evolution line of Metapod and Butterfree. In this case, Caterpie won’t contribute as a main Pokemon, so it’s best used alongside powerful Pokemon to make up for its lack of offensive capabilities.
