Versatile Frontline DPS

Strong in both melee and ranged combat, Berenica can clear enemy waves and deal sustained DPS efficiently. However, her high damage depends on combo timings and Sanity consumption.

Has Hit-stun Immunity with Netherflames

When Berenica activates Netherflames, she becomes immune to hit-stun, allowing her to keep attacking even under enemy fire. This allows her to maintain control in melee combat, making her highly effective against bosses with frequent knockback attacks.

How to Unlock or Get Berenica?

Exchange With Secret Letter Clues

Berenica's Secret Letter can be exchanged with Secret Letter Clues in the Shop. 1 Secret Letter will require 10 Secret Letter Clues. The shop is unlocked upon gaining access to the Sanctuary in Act 1.

Use Secret Letters in Covert Commissions

Secret Letters can be used during Covert Commissions to get a chance for a Character's Thought to drop. Once you gather 30 Thoughts, you can then exchange them for the character!

Berenica's Consonance Weapon benefits primarily from character stats, making the Skill DMG bonus from Wanewraith very effective whenever she enters her ultimate state, as well as when she uses her dash. If you have enough skill damage from other sources, you could also equip a Remanent Reminiscence for maximum ultimate uptime.

Blast Artistry functions as a stat stick that grants Berenica Skill Efficiency so that she can maximize her ultimate uptime. Otherwise, you could equip Bluecurrent Pulse or Excres Duo depending on your build.

Berenica uses her Consonance Weapon [Ymir] to deal a majority of her damage. As such, we've focused our DW Build on increasing her ATK since there aren't many Skill DMG DWs for Umbro characters. Since her Consonance Weapon consumes a lot of Sanity, players will also want Wings ∙ Inspo, which can be paired with her bonus Skill Efficiency nodes for maximum Ultimate uptime.

Wanewraith's main purpose in this build is to function as a stat stick by providing Skill DMG, and Combo Duration with Continuity and Continuity ∙ Trammel. While weapon Wedges do not normally apply to Consonance Weapons, Combo Duration is applied to the character, which makes it easier to upkeep Berenica's Combos.

Furthermore, we have also included Piercing Ascent, which can be used as a movement tool by using charged attacks to dash a short distance in the direction you are facing. When paired with Swift Momentum, this makes it much more convenient to use it as a means for enhanced movement.

Berenica typically focuses on wielding [Ymir] whenever she wants to deal damage, which makes Excresduo another stat stick that is slotted only for the increased Skill DMG. Therefore, a generic ranged weapon build will work well enough in most cases.

For [Ymir], the main Wedges are Impetus, Trammel, and Celerity. We chose to include Edge for more consistent damage with Swordwaves, however, you can swap it out with Rage if you want bigger crits.

Focus on ATK, Skill DMG, and Sanity

As a Consonance Weapon user, Berenica's [Ymir] scales off character stats such as ATK and Skill DMG, while ignoring any additional stats from Demon Wedges attached to her weapons.

Berenica also receives additional ATK from her Intron IV, so we've opted to equip a Volition instead of an additional Scorch.
