How to Adjust the Time
Select Run, Pear-Pal from the Menu
You can adjust the time by selecting Run, Pear-Pal in the menu. The time can be set up to 23 hours ahead of the current in-game time, however, changes in 30-minute intervals are not allowed.
Adjust and Confirm the Time You Want to Change
After selecting Run, Pear-Pal, set the time and press confirm. You'll have the option to play the fun-filled "Run, Pear-Pal" mini-game but if you've enabled "Skip Mini-Game", then the time will update instantly and you'll skip the mini-game entirely.
Complete the "Run, Pear-Pal" Mini-Game
Adjusting the time gives you the chance to try the "Run, Pear-Pal" mini-game. Since time advances even if you skip it and there are no score-based rewards, you can skip the game without any consequences.

When Should You Adjust the Time
Quests With a Specific Time Requirement
Adjusting the time may be needed when advancing the story because there are specific quests that are only accessible during certain times of the day, such as daytime or nighttime, so go to Run, Pear-Pal to change to the specific time of day needed for the quest.
When You Need to Interact With an NPC
Outside of quests, you may need to adjust the time in order to interact with certain NPCs, especially if you're competing for Styling Challenges. If a particular NPC is unavailable at a certain spot, try adjusting the time to see if they will appear.
Run, Pear-Pal Tips
The Key Is How Far You Can Go Within 30 Seconds
Run, Pear-Pal is a mini-game where your score is based on how far you can go within 30 seconds. Bumping into an enemy will cause you to slow down, obscure your vision, and affect your score, so you'll have to move skillfully to avoid any collisions.
Collecting Pears Grants You Invincibility
Aside from dodging obstacles, look out for pears. Collecting a pear grants you a speed boost and temporary invincibility. While you are invincible you can hit obstacles without being slowed down, so make sure to gather pears as often as you can.
Stick to the Topmost Part of the Screen

In Run, Pear-Pal, you won't find many obstacles at the topmost part of the screen so you can just stay at the top to get a decent score.
