Electrician - How to Repair Broken Lamps

How to Perform Repairs

Select "Electrician" from the Ability Wheel.
Approach a broken lamp and use the electrician ability to repair it.
Connect the black squares to align the cables.

Select "Electrician" from the Ability Wheel

Before you start making repairs, open the ability wheel and set the skill to "Electrician". If you have a different ability selected, you won't be able to fix a faulty lamp even if you get near it.

Electrician Unlocked during Chapter 1.

The repair ability is unlocked during Chapter 1 of the main quest, when you get to the Well of Fortune. You can obtain the electrician outfit sketch from the Heart of Infinity and craft the outfit to activate the ability.

Press the Ability Button near a Broken Lamp to Repair

After selecting the repair ability, move towards the broken lamp and tap the ability button. A mini-game will start where you connect cables to pass electricity.

Tap the Black Squares to Align the Cables

To beat this mini-game, rotate the black squares to create a connected line with the cables. This shouldn't be too hard if you start from one end and do it in order until you reach the other end.

How to Find a Broken Lamp

Broken Lamps Glow with the Electrician Outfit Selected

Broken lights will emit a green glow when the Electrician repair ability is active. This makes them easy to locate even from far away, so it's best to select the electrician skill set while traveling through the town or by the roads.

Spot Them by Their Sound or if They Don’t Light Up

Even if the repair ability is not selected, you can find broken lights by the "buzzing" electrical sound they make when you pass by, or by noticing that they don't glow at night.
