Chapter 6 Walkthrough - Encounter in the Woods

Before Nikki can progress the Main Story, she will need to advance her Stylist Rank to Ace Stylist. This can be done through the Advanced Courses menu, so head over there before anything else!

Chapter 6 begins after speaking to Mr. Spindle in Chapter 5. Open up the Map and teleport to the Stylist's Guild Front Gate Warp Spire. Once there, head inside to view a cutscene with Dada and Nonoy.

The Wish Pass Office is located to the far east of Florawish. Sadly, there are no rentable Whimcycles in Florawish, so if you haven't activated any of the Warp Spires near there, you will have to walk.

Important Note!	There are 2 Warp Spires on your way to the Wish Pass Office! If you haven't already, make sure to activate them to make returning to this area more convenient!

2	Question:What brings you to the Wishing Woods? Answer: To investigate a case
3	Question:Tell me, right now, what's your biggest wish? Answer: The Miracle Outfits

Before Nikki can enter the Wishing Woods, she first needs to pass the Wish Pass interview by speaking to 3 Faewish Sprites and answering their questions.

After passing the interview, Lupabo will give Nikki 2 x Elastic Gel, which is one of the crafting materials required to craft the Shrinking Ability Outfit. All that's left is to gather the remaining materials to craft the outfit and pass through the hole in the cave wall.

Make sure to use the Material Tracking feature on Nikki's Pear-Pal if you are having difficulties locating certain things!

Before leaving the Wish Pass Office, make sure to grab the 2 Whimstars to avoid backtracking to this area later! The first one requires climbing a woven pillar with Momo, while the second one requires solving a Curio.

Follow the objective marker to exit the Wish Pass Office. Leaving the Wish Pass Office will result in a cutscene when Nikki emerges from the cave.

This also resolves the first quest of Chapter 6, Mysterious Wishing Woods, and starts the next quest in the chain, Target! Wish Inspection Center!

After the cutscene, follow the path and head north to locate Timis, who has unluckily gotten her cart stuck.

1	Follow the green splotches on the ground.
2	Continue following the green splotches until you locate a hollow tree trunk.
3	Use the Shrinking Outfit to head inside the tree trunk and collect the Gooey Dewsin.

Timis describes the Gooey Dewsin as round and green. From those hints alone, we can follow the green trail of splotches to a hollow tree trunk.

Use the Shrinking Outfit to head inside the trunk and collect the Gooey Dewsin before returning to Timis!

Once Timis clears the cart from the path, Nikki is free to travel further north. Continue following the path north to eventually reach the Wish Inspection Center. From there, locate the Faewish Sprite named Boboda.

Before Boboda allows Nikki and company to enter the Auditing Station, Nikki first needs to prove herself to be a capable stylist yet again. Complete Boboda's Styling Challenge to progress the story!

Just past Boboda is the entrance to the Wish Auditing Station. Speak to Shada before entering, and she will inform Nikki that she needs to shrink down to fit into the entrance.

After entering the Wish Auditing Station, speak to Durida and he will tell Nikki that he will only reveal the location of Afubo after she plays three rounds of the Wish-Guessing Game but what you choose here won't affect the story, so don't worry.

After the cutscene in the Auditing Station, the quest Target! Wish Inspection Center! will end, and the next quest in the chain, Where is Afubo? will begin.

Exit the Auditing Station and follow the path that leads north from the Wish Inspection Center to reach the Wishcraft Lab.

After arriving at the Wishcraft Lab, speak to Nunabo, who will ask Nikki to help her purify some nearby Esselings. Follow Nunabo to a set of large, thorn-covered vines surrounded by Esselings.

Purify the Esselings to trigger another cutscene where Nunabo and Luluda reveal the location of B-fubo, a suspected alias of the Faewish Sprite Afubo.

The entrance to the Forest Cave is found back across the river, only slightly north from where Nikki purified the Esselings. Head to the cave to locate Afubo.

Locating Afubo will complete the Chapter 6 quest, Where is Afubo?, and begin the next quest in the chain, Cleansing Oil Mission.

Continue on your journey north to locate Timis' Beauty Lab, which looks like a giant, hollow, tree stump.

The interior of Timis' Beauty Lab is like that of previous dungeons that we have completed. There are Whimstars and Dews, and various obstacles that will require the use of the Shrinking Outfit.

Completing this Dungeon will also complete the Cleansing Oil Mission quest!

1	Use a Plunging Attack on the cracked floorboards to enter a small room. This room has 2 ceiling holes, one where you entered from, and another that leads to the first Whimstar.
2	Exit the Shrinking Outfit and dismount Momo to use Nikki. Then, float or glide down into the hole and towards the Whimstar. Note that there is water at the botton of the hole, so you have to move towards the Whimstar as soon as you enter the hole.
3	Enter the hole in the floor to reach a series of treadmills that will eventually lead to the third and final Whimstar.

Within the Beauty Lab are 3 Whimstars. The path to each Whimstar is found through an opening or a hole in the floor. Note that we are only showing the entrances towards each Whimstar. So make sure to follow each path to eventually locate all 3 Whimstars within the Beauty Lab!

Before Nikki can continue to the A Special Wish quest, she first needs to advance her Stylist Rank to Stylist Heroine.

This objective marks the beginning of the A Special Wish quest. Simply return to the Auditing Station via the In Front of the Wish Inspection Center Warp Spire and head into the Auditing Station to give the Faewish Sprites the Ultra-Light Cleansing Oil!

Nearby Crowned Feathers

After witnessing the last cutscene, exit the Auditing Station to find Boboda and the others discussing Afubo's punishment. Nikki will then learn that Afubo is trying to craft a Faewish Sprite Doll, and that she needs help gathering Glimmergrass and Crowned Feathers.

Once the materials have been gathered, return to Afubo to complete the quest and progress the questline.

Directly West of the Wishcraft Lab is the Paladin's Research Institute. Head to the objective marker to progress the quest.

After arriving at the Research Institute, Nikki will learn about the underground portion of the Institute, as well as the existence of a spare key. Listen to 3 groups of Faewish Sprites to find the key's location.

After locating the key, head back to the Research Institute and climb to the top to locate Giroda and the entrance. From there, use the Shrinking Outfit to get inside.

Once inside, Nikki will discover what the Faewish Sprites were hiding. Speak to the prisoners then exit the basement and speak to Giroda to complete Chapter 6, Encounter in the Woods.
