How to Dye Clothes in the DIY Workshop in Infinity Nikki. Learn how to dye clothes, unlock dyes, get Prisms and Glimmer Thread, and apply Patterns and Special Effects.

How to Dye Clothes

Open the DIY Workshop from the Pear-Pal

First, open the "DIY Workshop" from the Pear-Pal menu.

Select the Clothing You Want to Dye

Once the DIY Workshop opens, the dyeable clothing will be displayed. Select the clothing part you want to dye, then tap "Dye" at the bottom right of the screen.

Select the Area to Dye

On the dyeing screen, tap the area you want to dye such as specific sections or ribbons. The selected area will be highlighted. To apply the same color to multiple areas at once, use the "Multi-select" button at the bottom.

Choose a Color from the Palette

Choose your desired color from the unlocked dye palettes. Initially, only a few dyes are available, but by meeting specific conditions and using Prism, you can unlock many more dyes.

Save Once Done with the Dye

Once you’re satisfied with your dyed clothes, press "Save" at the bottom right to store your Stylish Outfit. You can save up to 7 Stylish Outfits and switch between them anytime.

You Can Reset to the Original Color

If you want to revert the changes, tap the reset arrow icon in the upper right of the screen to reset to the original color. To reset all parts at once, tap "Select All" at the bottom of the screen and then reset.

How to Unlock Dyes

Unlock by Meeting Conditions

Palette Unlock Conditions by Rarity

Dye palettes are mainly unlocked through Evolution. Higher rarity Clothing can access more palettes. 3-star Clothing that cannot evolve can still unlock palettes through Glow Up (level up to Lv. 10).

Prisms are Required to Unlock Dyes

Rarity	Required Prisms
3-star	Rainbow Prism
4-star	Luminous Prism
5-star	Radiant Prism

After increasing available palettes through Evolution or Glow Up, consume the respective Prism to unlock dye palettes. This lets you choose a variety of colors and greatly expands your dyeing options.

Evolving Clothing Lowers Prism Cost for Dyeing

Evolving 4-star or 5-star Clothing reduces Prism cost by 50% when unlocking palettes. If you unlocked palettes before evolving, the excess Prism amount will be refunded.

How to Get Prisms (Dye Materials)

Prisms Can be Obtained as Event Rewards

Prisms used for unlocking dye palettes are obtained via regular and limited-time events. Focus on collecting them from the Swish & Stitch Soiree, and use Resonance exchange for the rest.

Swish & Stitch Soiree Location

The Swish & Stitch Soiree is held daily from 20:00–22:00 at the Grand Patch Stage on Serenity Island.

Get Glimmer Threads via Quests

Glimmer Threads used for pattern unlocking is earned through Serenity Island's Random Quests and limited-time events.

Pattern Creation and Special Effect

Special Dyeing Options for Some Clothing

Some Clothing has special dyeing options, such as patterns or special effects, beyond the standard dye palette.

Special Effect

Only available for certain 5-star Outfits. After 4 Evolutions, special effects like auras or light animations can be modified.

Pattern Creation

Only available for selected monotone Clothing. Patterns are obtained from Quests or Swish & Stitch Soiree rewards at the Grand Patch Stage on Serenity Island, and can be unlocked using Glimmer Threads.
