Quest Rewards
The simplest way to gather materials is through quest rewards. By progressing through quests and advancing the story, you can collect Threads of Purity, and use other methods to supplement any missing materials.

Map Exploration
Gathering materials through map exploration will require some time and effort but will allow you to collect a wide variety of items and materials. If you're exploring, be sure to activate as many Warp Spires as you can so that you'll be able to go around the map with ease.

Realm Challenge is ideal for farming upgrade materials, though it requires Vital Energy. But if you need crafting materials for outfits, it's better to explore Miraland or complete quests instead.
Daily and Weekly Tasks
Completing Daily Wishes and the Mira Journey can ensure a steady supply of Thread of Purity. Always try to keep up with these tasks so you're never caught off guard when you need it.
Daily TasksStyling Challenge
Styling Challenge allows you to collect a limited amount of Thread of Purity and Shiny Bubbles. However, styling challenges can't be done repeatedly, so it may not be the best method for farming materials.
Tips to Win a Styling ChallengeUsing the Store
Exchanging Surging Ebb and Tranquility Droplets at the store is the quickest way to gather materials. Since these items can be obtained via Resonance, exchanging them for materials can be a smart choice if you don’t need anything else.

1. Select the Track Icon From the Map
Material Tracking can be used by selecting the Track icon on the map screen. This icon becomes available after completing the Material Tracking tutorial, so advance through the story first to unlock this feature.
2. Choose the Material You Want to Track
After selecting the track icon, the "Collections" screen will appear. Choose the material you want to gather and select "Track." The map will then display the area where the material can be found.
3. Look for the Materials Within the Area
Once the search area has been displayed on your map screen, you can now start looking for the materials. Once you get all the materials being tracked in the circled area, a new area will be highlighted.
4. Unlock Precise Track After 50 Collections
When you've gathered a particular material for over 50 times, the "Precise Track" function will be unlocked which allows you to pinpoint the exact location of a material you wish to collect.
Undiscovered Materials Cannot Be Tracked
Any material that has been discovered at least once can be tracked using the material tracking function. However, undiscovered materials cannot be selected for tracking, so set off on quests and explore the game world to discover as many materials as you can.
