Spacebar Allows You to Do Both
Jumping and floating are both activated by pressing the spacebar on PC. However, floating can only be triggered during a jump.
Press and Hold the Spacebar to Jump Higher
The height of Nikki's jump depends on how long you press the spacebar. Pressing it for a longer time allows her to reach higher platforms, while a small tap can get you over low obstacles.
Float to Reach Distant Platforms
Jump to get over ledges and float to move to distant platforms. Floating resembles gliding and gradually loses altitude, so time your jumps carefully to reach far-off locations.
Tips on Using the Float Ability
Enable Jump Guide Line
Green for Accessible Areas | Red for Restricted Areas |
---|---|
Jump Guide Line is a feature that visualizes locations reachable via Jumping. It makes it easier to gauge where you can climb or reach through Jumping, making it especially useful for players who struggle with action controls. Be sure to enable this feature if needed.
How to Enable Jump Guide Line
Check Your Landing Spot by Watching Your Shadow
Use Nikki's shadow as a marker while floating to ensure that you land precisely where you want. Watch the shadow to adjust your target spot, then press the space key once again to fall and land quickly.
Check Your Surroundings Before You Jump
As you float, Nikki will slowly descend. Plan your landing by checking your surroundings beforehand and selecting the most suitable spot to jump from to reach your target location.
