How To Kill Ladybugs
Neutral Wandering Insect
The Ladybug is a neutral bug (insect) - this means it won't attack you unless you attack it first! When it does attack however, you'll have to be ready, as it is somewhat bulky and can be quite dangerous. The Ladybug is also a wanderer - it will move around quite a lot.
Ladybug Location
Unfortunately, there isn't an exact spot you can go to find a Ladybug. These bugs more or less wander around the central part of the map. Just do a few laps around the central area and you should find one soon enough!

Acorn Set Is Recommended
For this fight, although it is not necessary if you are good at dodging, we recommend the Acorn Set of gear. This is easy enough to make, although you will have to fight some Mites to get the required Fuzz. Click on the individual ingredients above to find out their locations!
Pebblet Spear Range Helps
Although it's possible to do this with a Spiky Sprig, for early game attempts on the Ladybug, we recommend the Pebblet Spear due to its rather long range. This will let you stay a safe enough distance away to poke inbetween its attacks. Read up on strategy more below.
Battle Tips
Watch Its Attack Timing
The Ladybug really only has one attack pattern: rear back and lunge forward. You'll need to back away as soon as you see this animation start! In general, we recommend getting only 2 hits in - any more and you risk eating a hit.
Use Blades Of Grass Wisely
One thing you can try is to bait the Ladybug into positions where it will hit blades of grass instead of you. When it hits the grass, jump in, poke two times, and repeat until it's dead.
