Birds (Crows) - Location & Where To Find
Crow Locations
Birds are a new animal added to the game in the 0.2.0 content patch. They appear to randomly spawn (or perhaps wander between) several areas. We have been able to confirm the Crow's presence at the Bird Bath Bluff, the Northern Laser, the Picnic Table to the West, and the Eastern Fence.

Crows Only - No Other Birds?
Thus far, we have only been able to confirm the presence of Crows - we are not sure if other varieties of birds can be seen here.
Can You Kill Them?
It does not seem like you can fight and kill birds at this stage of the game, and frankly given their size, you probably would not even want to try.
How To Find Crows
When exploring the map, you'll sometimes hear the cawing sound of a crow in the distance. Follow the birdcall to its origin to find the crow!
Bird (Crow) - Drops & Item Recipes
Drops Feathers
Birds, in particular Crows, will drop feathers on the ground below them. If you hit these feathers with an axe, you will get Crow Feather Pieces, which can be used to make several different recipes. You won't need to fight the Crow to get these items!
Drop In Random Places Too
We have also confirmed the presence of Crow Feathers in locations where there is no Crow nearby. This leads us to believe that feathers will just naturally drop off Crows as they fly across the backyard! Keep an eye out for feathers everywhere you go.
