Ant Eggs - How To Get & Where To Find
How To Get Ant Egg Recipe
Ant Eggs are an item which is produced mainly by Worker Ants. They are found in the depths of caves (Ant Hills) where ants reside. They are used mainly as a catalyst in recipes for explosives, but it's conceivable that future updates could bring more recipe variety!
Do Ant Eggs Hatch?
As of the current build of the game, Ant Eggs do not seem to hatch into regular ants! This may change in the future however, so stay tuned for more possible updates!
Exact Anthill Location
The recommended Anthill to visit for egg gathering is located in the west part of the map, to the north of the tip of the rake's handle. This area is relatively safe, so you won't have to worry about being attacked by other huge bugs (usually).
Wear Ant Armor When Retrieving Eggs

By equipping all 3 of the above pieces, Soldier Ants will no longer be aggressive towards you! This means you can walk through the anthill freely without fear of attack. We highly recommend building this set since it's also useful for Base Buildings, providing a bonus to how many planks you can haul.

Many players have been experiencing a bug where Ant Eggs simply don't spawn onto the map. We also struggled with Ant Eggs and actually only found them on our 5th visit back to the anthill! If you don't find them on your first visit, don't fret and try the process recommended below.
Kill Worker Ants En Masse
Although we're not 100% sure that there is a causal relationship between the two, we feel it helped to kill hoards of Ants and then re-enter the hill the next day. This gives time for ants to respawn. Hopefully this bug will be fixed in the future, but for now this should be a decent workaround solution.
