What Are Abilities?
Useful Skills In Battles
Abilities are skills which deal damage and provide utility, helping you defeat enemies in battles. You can activate them as long as you have Adrenaline. When used properly, Abilities can cause devastating effects to their targets.
Two Types Of Abilities
Abilities are classified in two types depending on the distance where they can hit an enemy: Melee (Close Combat) or Range (Long Distance). You can only slot in 4 of each category at a time.
Explore The World To Obtain Abilities
You can unlock Abilities by exploring the world for Books of Knowledge. Many of them are hidden in places which are difficult to reach so it is highly recommended to explore actively and look for abilities.
Duplicates Will Level Up Abilities
Finding the same abilities you already have as you explore the world will increase their skill level, making them more powerful!
Some Are Rewards For Completing Quests
Some abilities can only be gained by doing quests. Some of them are easy to miss so watch out for these and try to seek them out whenever possible.
Abilities Consume Adrenaline
Using Abilities will consume your Adrenaline bar, which is located on top of the HP Bar.
Regain Adrenaline By Dodging / Parrying
While battling enemies, you can recover adrenaline by Parrying and Dodging their attacks.
