Runes - How To Equip
Only Equipped On Items With Rune Slots
Weapons and Armor need to have Rune Slots to be able to have a Rune added to them. Legendary Items will always have a Rune Slot unlocked.
Unlock Rune Slots At Blacksmith
If you want to unlock a rune slot for a weapon or armor, you can do so at the Blacksmith. You can find the Blacksmith at your Settlement.
Runes Can Be Changed Anytime
You can place, switch, or remove Rune from any of your weapons and armor at any time. It can be done at any time from the inventory!
Runes - How To Get
Looted From Chests
You can find yourself with a hefty amount of Runes by simply looting from chests around the world. They're randomly given and are not a guarantee in every chest.
Recommended: Wealth Points Of Interests
Players are more likely to get Runes when opening Wealth Points Of Interest around the map. Although even with this, it's still quite random if you get one or not.
Buy From Merchants
It's also possible to buy Runes from Merchants in-game. These will be sold for Silver, which has a lot of other uses as well, so you'll want to stock up on a lot of it.
