Tilting The Balance - How To Unlock
To unlock Tilting The Balance, you need to finish the previous quest, Walls Of Templebrough. Without finishing Walls Of Templebrough, you will not have access to this quest. Note that this mission is a Ledecestrescire Story route.

Tilting The Balance - Walkthrough Guide
Tilting The Balance - Mission Walkthrough Procedure
| Procedure | |

| 1 | Go to Tamworth & enter the pig barn. Watch the cutscene |
| 2 | Get clues on King Burgred's Hideout (Crypt) |
| 3 | Go To Offchurch on the map, where the Arwy & Alne rivers meet. |
| 4 | Enter the church and go down to the Crypt. Keep moving down until you reach the bottom |
| 5 | Defeat King Burgred in a boss fight |
| 6 | Fight swarms of elites after exiting crypt |
| 7 | Meet up with Sigurd in Venonis. Run to Tamoth |
3. Move To Offchurch
The king's location is in Offchurch on the map. Fast travel or walk here to further the mission.
Sneak Or Fight Into The Church
The next step is to sneak or fight into the church entrance. We recommend stealth as there are numerous enemies in the vicinity but they are quite spread out.
4.Look Out For Treasure In The Crypt
There are numerous treasures & skill books in the Crypt, so try to explore a bit more to get all the loot you can. Notable loot include Focus of the Nornir ability & 3 treasures. Use stealth to deal with the guards easily.
5.Parry King Burgred's Attacks To Beat Him
King Burgred will be carrying a shield which makes him immune to your attacks. Wait for him to strike at you and use parry counter to knock him out.
Beware Of Lunge Attacks
King Burgred will repeatedly use lunge attacks at you. This attack will strike in a large area so look out for the flashing cue to evade.
6. Get Ready For A Hard Fight With Elite Enemy Units
Once you leave the crypt, waves of enemy elite units will greet you in a fight outside. They have more HP and can attack & parry much better than normal mobs, so be ready for a tough fight & use your skills to take them down.

In the quest Bartering, if you decided to pay Tonna, she will not appear after you exit the crypt. She only appears to fight you if you did not pay her or if you paid her and still killed some of her men.
7. Ride Away To Tamworth
There's no need for you to fight the riders when running away with King Burgred. Focus on dodging the incoming waves and try to run in a zigzag fashion when in open areas to dodge ranged attacks.
