What Is The Order Of The Ancients?
A Secret Pagan Organization
The Order of the Ancients is a secret organization in Assassin's Creed Valhalla that has agents all over the world attempting to spread their propaganda. You will be tasked with assassinating members of this organization one by one, from low rank Zealots all the way up to the Grand Maegester of the Order.
Discover Clues To Unlock Individual Members
You will not be able to see all members of the Order initially. When you open the screen for the first time, the majority of them will be blacked out. After you find some information (clues) about the person in-game, you'll start to see their silhouette. When you discover all clues, their face will become visible and you'll be able to track them! Finally, when you assassinate them successfully, their portrait will turn red.

Finding Clues
Your main method of unmasking the members of the Order will be to find clues! These clues can be found by killing other lower ranking Order members, but also by other means as well. These include forging alliances, exploring the world, and doing quests to help people out.
Go Up The Hierarchy
Killing a member of the Order will give you clues on the identity of their superiors. It will be necessary to work your way up from the bottom by killing Zealots to uncover information on the ringleader of the whole operation, the Grand Maegester.

The Order is made up of several branches, all of which eventually lead to the Grand Maegester. Killing foes on lower rungs will give you info about higher up members.
