Armor Is Your Main Form Of Defense

In Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the main way you can raise your defense is by wearing armor. Each piece provides a specific number of armor points that is added up to calculate your overall defense.

Armor Sets Provide Unique Perks

When you wear a specific number of armor pieces from a certain set, you will unlock effects unique to that armor set.

Equip Runes To Add Stats

You can place additional stats to your armor by adding runes! To do this, you'll first need to actually have Rune Slots on your gear. Some armor is already equipped with Rune Slots, but you can easily add more by going to the Blacksmith.
