The Sons Of Ragnar - How To Unlock
To unlock the The Sons Of Ragnar, you need to finish the previous quest, The Alliance Map and pick to pledge for Ledecestrescire. Without finishing The Alliance Map, you will not have access to this quest. Talk to Randvi to change the faction mission once you've cleared it.

The Sons Of Ragnar - Walkthrough Guide
The Sons Of Ragnar - Mission Walkthrough Procedure
| Procedure | |

| 1 | Hop on your longboat and heads north. Head towards Repton to speak to Sigurd |
| 2 | Follow Ivarr Around Repton to Tonna's tent. Watch the cutscene |
| 3 | Talk to Ubba. Mount up & follow them to Tamworth |
| 4 | After a cutscene, go to the Ragnarsson War Camp & speak to the Captain. Watch another cutscene |
| 5 | Man the light ram and proceed to knock down all gates in the way. You may need to take down some enemies along the way. Alternatively, you can go behind the gates to break them. |
| 6 | Kill all Elite enemies ＆ archers |
| 6a | Obtain Tamworth Fortress Key & Collect loot |
| 7 | Force down door to King Burgred's keep. Collect Burgred's Journal & Talk to Ivarr |
1. Get Ready For A Trek North
This mission is up north from your starting point so be ready to move. This mission will also have you move around different locations a lot so make sure to reserve enough time before taking on this mission.
5. Move Ram Back To Charge
The Light Ram will be crucial in your assault. Man the ram & knock down the gates. Move back until the charge command flashes yellow to unleash a ramming attack on the gate. Rinse & repeat until the gate is down.
Eliminate Archers Along The Way
Archers may be on the gates & buildings along the way. Take them down before start ramming to avoid losing time due to interference from them.
Brace When the Red Circle Appears
On the final gate, enemy archers will rain arrows on your ram. Press Brace command when you see a red circle hovering over.
Destroy The Gate From Behind
You can climb the obstacles and walls to go to the other side of the gate. Once you reach the opposite side, you can use the explosive jars or destroy the locks to open the gates.
Get Ready For A Hard Fight With Elite Enemy Units
Once the final gate is breached, many enemy elite units will greet you in a fight. They have more HP and can attack & parry much better than normal mobs, so be ready for a tough fight & use your skills to take them down.

An optional part of this mission is to loot the items in the Tamworth Fortress. Look for the Tamworth Fortress Key in the nearby building & open the gate to loot the fortress of its supplies.
7.Look For Burgred's Journal On The Table
To proceed to the next mission, look for Burgred's Journal on the table here. There's also plenty of items & supplies to loot here, so be thorough before getting the journal & talking to Ivarr!
