Arts Damage dealers can take care of those at the bottom of the map. Since they're effective against armored enemies, it's important to place them there.

During the 2nd half of the battle, the numer of enemies will increase and cannot be suppressed by a Vnaguard alone. Recall the Vanguard & replace it with a Defender instead.
Acid Originium Slugs Lower Defense
Operators attacked by Acid Originium Slugs will have their defense cut in half. Medics with AoE healing are great for counteracting this.
Physical on Top, Art Damage on Bottom
Most of the enemies will be spawning from the left side of the map. Place a physical attacker on top and art damager on the bottom to control the field.
Consider Leveling Up if Failing
If you find yourself failing the mission, it might be best to level up your Operators first to meet or go beyond the recommended level.
