Ditto Pros and Cons
Copy the Opponent's Attack
Ditto's Attack allows you to choose one Attack from any Pokemon, including those on the opponent's Bench. However, you can only use it if Ditto has the necessary Energy attached, making it quite restrictive. Generally, it's best used to copy Attacks that require only 1–2 Energy.
Exact Energy Requirements for Copying Attacks
If the chosen Attack requires Colorless Energy, there’s no issue. However, if it requires any other type of Energy, Ditto must also have that specific Energy type, meaning the Energy must match what is available from your Energy Zone.
Some Attacks Cannot Be Copied
There are certain Attacks that Ditto cannot copy. Even if the conditions are met, these Attacks will remain grayed out.

▲ For example, "Genome Hacking," which references the opponent's Attack, cannot be copied.
