Purify! The Scent in the Cavern - Quest Guide
- Talk to Eremita to start the quest
- Purify the Esselings
- Search for the Cavern That Eremita Mentioned
- Find the Treasure in the Cavern and defeat the guarding Esselings
- Leave the Cavern through the exit path
- Return to Eremita to report back
- Acquire the Traveler's Musings Sketch in the Heart of Infinity
- Craft the Traveler's Musings Whim Fragrance
- Equip the Whim Fragrance via the Wardrobe menu
- Conclude the quest by talking to Eremita again
Purify! The Scent in the Cavern begins when you talk to Eremita near the Secret Base Warp Spire. Talk to Eremita about the treasure, but before he tells you where it is, you will first need to prove yourself.
Follow the quest marker to locate the three Esselings you need to defeat. Use your Purification Orb to defeat all three and return to Eremita.
Follow the quest marker to find the cavern where the treasure lies as Eremita stated.
Follow the path inside the cave to get to the top of the cave where the treasure is located. The treasure chest you are looking for is guarded by a number of Esselings, so make sure to purify them first in order to unlock the chest.
 Important Note! | Be sure to open any chests and collect Dews of Inspiration and Whimstars as you progress deeper into the cave! |

You can easily exit the cavern by jumping down the hole behind the treasure chest. Follow the path, and it will lead you back to the entrance of the cavern.
Go back and talk to Eremita. He'll notice that you already got the fragrance and tell you that you can use it to craft Whim Fragrances, but you will need the sketch first.
How to Get Whim Fragrance
Open the Heart of Infinity to get the Traveler's Musings Sketch. This needs one Whimstar and 10,000 Blings to unlock, so make sure you have all the necessary materials to unlock!

Open Sketches menu and find the Whim Fragrance tab. Select Traveler's Musings to craft it. Make sure to have the materials ready to craft the Traveler's Musings!
After crafting the Whim Fragrance, follow the tutorial to equip it. Open your Wardrobe and click the Whim Fragrance tab at the top right. Click Traveler's Musings and hit save.

Once you are done crafting the Whim Fragrance, talk to Eremita to conclude the quest. He will mention other treasures waiting to be discovered.
