- Talk to Ponta
- Try the Surprise-O-Matic

First Go at the Surprise-O-Matic random quest is unlocked in Florawish, near the square in front of the Stylist's Guild. You can use the nearest Warp Spire, located just beside the Stylist's Guild, to reach it whenever you like.
Talk to Ponta, who is right next to the Surprise-O-Matic. He will tell you more about the machine and how to use it.
You can also use the machine directly, and the dialogue scene will still start. Once you draw from the Surprise-O-Matic machine, you can complete the quest.

You can determine the rarity of the piece you will receive from the Surprise-O-Matic by observing the light effects and the ball that comes out of the machine. You can anticipate getting a 3-star piece when it’s blue and a 4-star piece when it’s purple.
