The "Help the Volunteer Corps" quest begins when you talk to Director Attire Quil at Stonecrown Peak. Quil explains that the injured Pieceys need help due to attacks by the Caged Greed.
Give Threads of Purity to Director Attire Quil
Nikki suggests using Threads of Purity to patch up the injured Pieceys. Quil will request 10 Threads of Purity to patch them up. These items are commonly rewarded during the main quest.
