Randomly Generated Rougelike Challenge
The Simulated Universe is a Rougelike challenge where the stages are randomly generated every time you play. A random event occurs every time you play and you will get special buffs while trying to defeat the final boss to obtain the rewards.
Obtain Points To Get Weekly Rewards!
The Simulated Universe awards you Points according to the results. You can check your Points on the bottom left of the menu screen. Every week, you can accumulate Points to earn valuable rewards such as Tracks of Destiny and Herta Bonds.
In the Simulated Universe, even if you exit the stage or don't make it to the end you still get Points for the progress you made. Accumulate all the Points you can to obtain the rewards.
The Point Rewards will reset every Monday at 04:00 (EST)
The Points and Rewards you get in the Simulated Universe reset every Monday at 4 AM (EST). Your progress and the difficulty won't change, but be careful not to miss any rewards.
Weekly Point limit increases according to Equilibrium Level
Weekly Point limit increases according to Equilibrium Level. The rewards also become better as the limit goes up, so remember to check the Simulated Universe when you finish the Trial of the Equilibrium.
Obtain Planar Ornaments From World 3
Starting from World 3, by consuming Trailblaze Power or Immersifiers you can obtain Immersion Rewards which include Planar Ornaments unique for each World. You can increase stats and gain Set Effects if you equip them but much like the Cavern Relics, the effects of the Relics are random so you will need to start farming them to find the best one.
Obtain Stellar Jades and 5-Star Light Cones!
You receive Points according to your progress in the Simulated Universe every time you enter it . You will be rewarded with rare items such as Stellar Jades and Star Rail Passes every week, according to the number of Points you accumulated. Even if you are defeated you will still receive the Points for your progress. Your Points and rewards are reset every Monday.
Rewards Include a 4-Star Character
Apart from the weekly rewards, you will receive rewards for completing each World for the first time, including Star Rail Passes and 4-Star Character "Herta". Herta is very useful for running challenges, so try to obtain that reward as soon as you finish the Prologue.
Which Path To Choose
"Path Resonance" And Permanent Buffs
Which "Path" you choose when you enter the Simulated Universe will determine what kind of buffs you gain during the challenge. In addition, if you obtain 3 Blessings of the Path you chose, you can activate "Path Resonance" during battle.
The "Path Resonance" ability alone won't give you significant effects but the synergy it creates with Blessings of the same Path is strong. It will become a very powerful ability depending on the choices you make.
Therefore when you are given the option to choose a Blessing when you defeat enemies or come across an event, the basic strategy is to choose the Blessing of the same Path you selected in the beginning.
Blessings Need To Match With Your Team
There are 7 Paths, each with their own unique advantages. You will need to consider which Path goes well with your characters to make the challenge easier.
Paths and Advantages
Path | Advantages |
Preservation | Blessings strengthen "Shield". Can also deal DMG according to Shield strength. ▼ Preservation details |
Remembrance | Blessings support "Frozen" effect. Blessings can also Freeze enemies directly. ▼ Remembrance details |
Nihility | Blessings strengthen "DoT". Also supports Weakness Break. ▼ Nihility details |
Abundance | Blessings strengthen "Healing". Can also deal DMG according to outgoing Healing. ▼ Abundance details |
The Hunt | Blessings strengthen "ATK". Best for fast DPS characters. ▼ The Hunt details |
Destruction | Blessings strengthen "HP Consumption". Keeps low HP during battle. ▼ Destruction details |
Elation | Blessings strengthen "Follow-up ATK". ▼ Elation details |
Blessings of Preservation
- Smooth battle with a reliable strong shield
- Deals good DMG with attacks based on shield strength
- Especially effective against bosses with Physical weakness
Blessings Enhance Shields
Blessings of Preservation can enhance shields and defense. Some Blessings and Path Resonance deal damage based on shield strength, so you will have advantages in both offense and defence.
It does take time to progress in the beginning but this strategy is significantly reliable, so we recommend choosing Preservation if you can't decide.

Path Resonance Effects
Path Resonance: Preservation | Resonance Formation: Isomorphous Reaction |
Physical DMG to all enemies Increase DMG based on Shield strength | Path Resonance regenerates Energy |
"Path Resonance: Preservation" deals Physical damage to all enemies. Damage output is based on the total shield strength of all allies. Preservation Teams often rely on durability but this becomes a great source of damage. It is useful against bosses and also weaker enemies.
We recommend "Resonance Formation: Isomorphous Reaction" which greatly regenerates Energy, allowing you to use Path Resonance more frequently. You will regenerate Energy right after using it, so you won't have to hesitate to activate it.
Best Blessings
Divine Construct: Macrosegregation | At the start of the battle, characters gain a special Shield that can absorb DMG equal to 1% of their Max HP. Whenever another Shield is gained, this special Shield will also strengthen in equal value. For every 2 turn(s), this will be removed, and then this special Shield can be regained. This will enhance your shield and is especially a good match with Fire Trailblazer who uses it frequently. |
Divine Construct: Resonance Transfer | After a character launches an attack, deals Quake DMG equal to 100% of the character's current Shield to the hit enemies. Increases DMG output. Basic ATK also becomes more useful, ending battles more quickly. |
Interstellar Construct: Quadrangular Pyramid | Increase the max DMG that can be absorbed by Shields created by characters by 30%. Very simple but useful. Also can increase DMG output for Path Resonance. |
Construct: Assemble | Characters gain a 6% DEF increase for each Preservation Blessing, stacking up to a max of 6 time(s). Becomes powerful as you get closer to the boss when you have more Blessings. |
Blessings of Remembrance
- Freezes enemies to delay their actions!
- Significant DMG dealt by Frozen effects
- Able to immobilize enemies completely!
Remembrance Teams & Best Blessings
Blessings Specialized In Frozen
Many Blessings of Remembrance can increase the DMG to frozen enemies and delay their actions by inflicting Frozen.
They are most effective against enemies weak to Ice. If the boss has Ice RES, "Experience: The Torment of Alienation" and "Experience: Unspeakable Shame" can still be used to freeze it.
Path Resonance Effects
Path Resonance: Remembrance | Resonance Formation: Rich Experience |
Deals Ice DMG to all enemies High chance of inflicting Frozen | When using Path Resonance, the duration of the debuff doubles. |
"Path Resonance: Remembrance" deals Ice DMG and has a high chance of inflicting Frozen on all enemies, making it a powerful skill for the Remembrance team. Its exceptional base chance allows it to also inflict on enemies with Frozen RES.
For Resonance Formation, we recommend "Resonance Formation: Rich Experience," which doubles debuff duration for 1 turn after Path Resonance. When paired with "Perfect Experience: Fuli," it can prolong "Dissociation," significantly boosting damage and delaying enemy action.
Best Blessings
Perfect Experience: Fuli | Attacks Frozen enemies to inflict "Dissociation," disabling them for 1 turn. A powerful blessing with high frequency and effectiveness, especially well matched with "Resonance Formation: Rich Experience." |
Perfect Experience: Reticence | Inflicts Frozen after attacking certain times. Further increases the frequency of Frozen, which is crucial if only a few characters can freeze. |
Ultimate Experience: Insensitivity | After "Dissociation" is removed, inflicts Frozen with a chance. In some cases, it is possible to completely immobilize the enemy. The chance of infliction increases after it is enhanced. |
Ultimate Experience: Shudder | After Ultimate, applies Ice Weakness with a chance to a random enemy for 2 turns. Enables you to Weakness-Break enemies who do not have Ice Weakness and is a must for bosses without Ice Weakness. |
Ultimate Experience: Dizziness | Increases the DMG to enemies with "Dissociation" For DMG Boost. Enhanced effect is also recommended. |
Experience: Unspeakable Shame | Easier to inflict Frozen depending on the number of Blessings of Remembrance. The more blessings you obtain, the more powerful you become, especially in final stages. |
Blessings of Nihility
- Blessings massively increase DoT
- Works great with Wind Shear and Shocked effect
- Only requires F2P characters
Nihility Path - Builds & Best Blessings
Gain Massive DoT
Nihility Blessings will increase DoT damage. A single blow will not be that powerful but the overall damage will be high, making it efficient in Boss battles especially if they have high HP.
Many characters that deal DoT damage are also capable of AoE attacks, which makes it easier to quickly defeat other weaker enemies.
What is DoT?
DoT is damage dealt by "Bleed / Wind Shear / Burn / Shock" debuffs. The debuffs can deal damage on the enemy's turn when a Weakness Break is triggered with "Physical / Wind / Fire / Lightning" damage. You can also directly inflict these debuffs using Skills.
Note! | Icing and Quantum Entanglement are considered Additional DMG, not DoT. Thus they won't be enhanced by Nihility Blessings. |
Path Resonance Effects
Includes recommendation for Resonance Formation.
Path Resonance: The Nihility | Resonance Formation: The Doubtful Fourfold Root |
High chance to inflict Burn / Shock / Bleed / Wind Shear (2 Stacks) | Enhances Base Chance / Duration / Stacks (only if they can be accumulated) of Path Resonance |
Path Resonance: The Nihility has a high chance to inflict DoT damage to all enemies. DoT damage enhanced by the Blessings can be inflicted on multiple enemies.
For the Resonance Formation, the first one you want is "The Doubtful Fourfold Root". The unstable chances of dealing DoT significantly improves, and the duration and number of debuffs you can stack also increases, making it much more powerful.
After "The Doubtful Fourfold Root" we recommend getting "Outsider" to regenerate Energy or "Suffering and Sunshine" to enhance your Weakness Breaks.
Best Blessings
Funeral of Sensory Pursuivant | Every time an enemy takes DMG from DoT, applies 1 stack of Suspicion and increases DoT DMG. When enhanced, amount of DMG does not decrease every turn. Increases DoT, should be enhanced if possible. |
Why Hasn't Everything Already Disappeared? | DoT occurs an extra time. Total DoT DMG increases by 90 - 135% |
The Man in the Cover | Every time an enemy is afflicted with DoT, apply 3 stack(s) of Suspicion. Much like "Funeral of Sensory Pursuivant", you can increase DoT DMG. Get both if possible. |
Ignosticism | Gain DoT increase for each Nihility Blessing. Becomes powerful with more Blessings. Especially useful later in the challenge when you have many Blessings. |
Tragic Lecture | DoT increases. Simple but powerful. |
Blessings of Abundance
- Greatly increases outgoing healing, works well for auto-battles
- Good offense with DMG based on outgoing healing
- Blessings effects are versatile, works well with other Paths
Abundance Path - Builds & Best Blessings
Enhance Both Healing And Damage
Abundance Blessings increases outgoing healing and turns that into damage output with "Dewdrop". Compared with "Preservation", which is also good for both ATK and DEF, it doesn't work as well for auto-battles but many characters can be included in the team and you only need 1 healer.
You can also include multiple healers for maximum effect, but this strategy is also useful if your general team needs more durability.
Reroll Blessings If You Have Multiple Healers
Abundance Blessings are very powerful but you need to have the right blessings. Especially if you have more than 1 healer, you may want to reset your blessings until you get "Prosperity, Longevity" or include The Hunt DPS character instead just for the beginning.
Path Resonance Effects
Includes recommendation for Resonance Formation.
Path Resonance: Abundance | Resonance Formation: Anatta |
Recover massive HP for all allies Increase Max HP | Activate Path Resonance 1 more time (1 time per battle, effect decreases 30% of original value) |
Path Resonance: Abundance can recover HP for all allies and also increase max HP. Although it will only improve healing abilities at first, once you get "Prosperity, Longevity" it will also become a good source of DMG.
For Resonance Formation, you first want to get "Resonance Formation: Perfect Aim" which allows you to activate Path Resonance frequently. You can only use it once per battle and the outgoing healing decreases by 30%, but it greatly increases your DMG output as well.
Best Blessings
Prosperity, Longevity | Charges Dewdrop when a character's HP is restored and converts it into DMG output. This is almost always a must for the Abundance strategy. Path Resonance becomes a huge source of DMG output. |
Being of Abundance, Becoming One Mind | When the character provides healing, allies other than the healed target will also gain HP equal to 30% of the Outgoing Healing. Good for durability and increases DMG output. |
Mortals of the Buddha-Field | When the character's HP is full, greatly increases the Charging Efficiency for Dewdrop. Greatly increases outgoing healing and DMG. |
Blessing | After a character uses their Skill, there is a fixed chance to recover 1 Skill Point. Will help maintain Skill Points and make it easier to use healing abilities. |
Rain of Truth | For each Abundance Blessing, increase allies' Max HP. Makes a big difference once you have many Blessings. |
Blessings of The Hunt
- Significant CRIT DMG ends battles quickly
- Increase SPD and Advanced Forward effect is key
- Blessings effects are versatile, works well with other Paths
Hunt Path - Builds & Best Blessings
End Battles Quickly With High DMG
The Hunt Blessings increase DMG with CRIT buffs and also allow your team to take more turns with increased SPD and Advanced Foward. Although it doesn't offer much protection, it focuses on increasing DMG to defeat the enemy before they can defeat you.
It doesn't work too well for difficult stages, but it is recommended for Planar Ornament farming since it allows you to run challenges quickly with its high DMG output.
Path Resonance Effects
Includes recommendation for Resonance Formation.
Path Resonance: The Hunt | Resonance Formation: Perfect Aim |
Wind DMG to all enemies DMG based on character with highest ATK | Increase Max Path Resonance Energy to 200 (Stack up to 2 times) Allows more frequent use of Path Resonance |
The Hunt Blessings deals massive Wind DMG to all enemies. The damage output is based on the character with the highest ATK so the damage can be increased easily. Useful for defeating weaker enemies.
For the Resonance Formation, you first want to get "Resonance Formation: Perfect Aim" which allows you to use Path Resonance and stack the effect up to 2 times. You won't have to hesitate to use it on weaker enemies and use it twice on a boss with Wind weakness to deal massive damage. If you can get another, you will also want "Resonance Formation: Star Hunter" for the boss fight.
Best Blessings
Imperishable Victory | After a character defeats an enemy, their action is Advanced Forward by 100%. At the beginning of the next turn, they gain 4 stack(s) of Critical Boost. Increase DMG by defeating enemies summoned by bosses. Also useful in battles against normal enemies. |
Flowing Mist | When the same character acts consecutively, their ATK increases by 40%. This effect can stack up to 2 time(s). Chance to gain Skill Point when enhanced. Good match with "Imperishable Victory" and Seele. Better to enhance if you can. |
Auspicious Star | When a character defeats an enemy, regenerates Energy Allows more frequent use of Ultimate. Defeat weaker enemies in boss fights to regenerate Energy. |
Vermeil Bow and White Arrow | For every Blessing from The Hunt, increases SPD. More powerful as you get more Blessings towards the end. |
Skirting Life and Death | Increases CRIT Rate. Simple but effective, makes up for low CRIT rate. |
Blessings of Destruction
- Gains powerful buffs based on the amount of HP lost!
- Greatly boosts the relatively low ATK and DEF
- Recommended for Auto-Battles without HP-consuming Blessings
Gains Buffs Based On The Amount Of HP Lost
"Blessings of Destruction" grants buffs based on the amount of HP lost, allowing for great damage at low HP and increased durability as HP decreases, ensuring stability for the whole team.
Although the teams enhanced by maintaining low HP are powerful, the teams prioritizing ATK Buff and high stability are more suited for Auto-Battle mode.

Path Resonance Effects
Includes recommendation for Resonance Formation.
Path Resonance: Destruction | Resonance Formation: Cataclysmic Variable |
Deals Fire DMG to all enemies Based on the total amount of HP lost | Consumes HP from all allies up to 40% and converts it into a Shield Increases DMG of Path Resonance by 20% |
"Path Resonance: Destruction" deals Fire AoE based on the total amount of HP lost by allies. Keeping allies at low HP through Blessing can significantly increase the damage output.
For Resonance Formation, we recommend "Resonance Formation: Cataclysmic Variable," which reduces HP from all allies up to 40% while converting it into a Shield. The damage of "Path Resonance" is also boosted, greatly increasing the usability.
However, if you defeat all enemies with Path Resonance after obtaining "Resonance Formation: Cataclysmic Variable," the battle will end with all allies' HP being low. Although other blessings can compensate for the lost HP, it is recommended to obtain "Resonance Formation: Extreme Helium Flash," which inflicts debuffs, for farming in Auto-Battle mode.
Best Blessings (For Auto Farming/Versatile Team)
Regression Inequality of Annihilation | When hit, distributes DMG to all allies. After enhancement, additionally reduces DMG by 15%. *The HP consumed by effects won't be distributed. Greatly enhances team stability. Compatible with other Path. Should be prioritized for enhancement. |
Disciplinary Flicker | Restores HP if HP is lower than 35% due to attacks or consumption. Ensures durability and matches well with Auto-farming. |
Primordial Black Hole | Boosts ATK based on the number of Destruction Blessings. The more blessings you obtain, the more powerful you become, especially in final stages. |
Orbital Redshift | Increases Max HP Ensures durability and increases Outgoing Healing based on Max HP. |
Polarization Receptor | Increases DEF by 0.4%/0.6% for every 1% of HP lost. Recommended for ensuring durability, especially during difficult stages. |
Instability Strip | Regenerates 4/6 Energy when hit or HP is consumed. Boosts the frequency of Ultimate. Good match for characters with Taunt. |
Best Blessings (For Keeping Low HP)
Regression Inequality of Annihilation | When hit, distributes DMG to all allies. After enhancement, additionally reduces DMG by 15%. *The HP consumed by effects won't be distributed. Greatly enhances team stability. Compatible with other Path. Should be prioritized for enhancement. |
Non-Inverse Antimatter Equation | Will be considered to have 16/20 extra stacks of "Fighting Spirit," if HP is below 50%. Increases ATK by 3% and DEF by 3% for each stack. Stacks up to 35 times. Greatly boosts basic stats when HP is less than half. Recommended for teams that maintain low HP. |
Destructive Flare | Deals 50% increased DMG when HP is lower than 50%. After enhancement, additionally deals 20% increased DMG when HP is lower than 35%. Powerful if maintained low HP, also needs to be enhanced. |
Devastating Accretion | Increases ATK by 0.8% for every 1% of HP lost. After enhancement, additionally increases DEF by 0.5%. Boosts basic stats for offense and defense, and improves durability after enhancement. |
Reflection | Restores allies from being downed. This effect can be triggered only once per battle. Ensures durability and should be obtained in early stages. |
Primordial Black Hole | Boosts ATK based on the number of Destruction Blessings. The more blessings you obtain, the more powerful you become, especially in final stages. |
Metric Reservation | Upon entering battle, gains a Shield based on the amount of HP lost. Ensures durability. Good match for "Resonance Formation: Cataclysmic Variable" |
Blessings of Elation
- Significantly increases follow-up ATK DMG
- Many Weakness Break related buffs: Combat type is important
- Recommend building a follow-up ATK focused team
Elation Path - Builds & Best Blessings
Increases Follow-up Attack DMG
Elation Blessings massively increases follow-up attack DMG for all allies. It won't benefit characters without follow-up attacks, but it is very useful if they do. Try this out for teams with multiple characters that have follow-up attacks.
There are also many effects for Weakness Breaks so remember to include characters with the enemies' weakness type.
Path Resonance Effects
Includes recommendation for Resonance Formation.
Path Resonance: Elation | Resonance Formation: Instant Win |
Activates follow-up attacks of a random Type to all enemies for 3 - 5 times. | Regenerates Energy for Path Resonance. |
Path Resonance: Elation activates follow-up attacks of a random Type to all enemies for 3 - 5 times. The attacks are considered follow-up attacks so they can be significantly enhanced once your damage output is increased.
For Resonance Formation, we recommend "Resonance Formation: Instant Win" to use Path Resonance more frequently. You will regenerate Energy much faster so you won't have to hesitate to use it.
Best Blessings
Slaughterhouse No. 4: Rest in Peace | When a character uses follow-up attacks to an enemy, deals Aftertaste DMG equal to 80% of their ATK to the target. If the enemy also has their Weakness Broken, then deals DMG for 1 or 2 extra time(s). Aftertaste: Follow-up ATK of a random Type Increases DMG, expecially when a Weakness Break is triggered. |
Auto Harmonica: Whitest Night | After a character uses a follow-up attack, they deal Aftertaste DMG equal to 55% - 60% of their ATK for 1 to 3 time(s) Increases DMG and more reliable than "Slaughterhouse No. 4: Rest in Peace". |

- Defeat the Boss
1. Go to the Simulated Universe

Select the World and difficulty on the menu screen. We recommend choosing your characters based on the Boss's weakness.
3. Choose Path and first Blessing
After choosing the world, difficulty and team, select which Path you want to go with to start the challenge. It will also let you choose the first Blessing, but it is random and will not make a big difference, so just choose what you like.
4. Go through battles/events
During the challenge, you will go through various battles and events.
5. Choose freely at Divergence points
Each area has a gate that leads you to the next area. The events you encounter and enemies' strength depends on what gate you go through. Some areas let you choose between 2 gates, so you need to decide which one would be better for your team.
Gates you see at Divergence points | |
Combat | Domain with normal enemies. |
Encounter | The enemies' strength and types change. Defeat them for a chance to obtain special Blessings and Curios. |
Occurence | You encounter random events. Chance to gain very powerful Blessings. |
Transaction | Exchange Blessings and Curios. You can lose Blessings in exchange for other advantages. |
6. Add character to team with Downloader
In the Respite areas you can access a Downloader which allows you to add 1 character to your team. You can switch the characters in your team from the button on the upper right.
You may want an additional DPS so you can switch them depending on the enemy's weakness, or a versatile character in case someone gets knocked down.
7. Obtain Planar Ornament as Immersion Reward
In the Domain with elite enemies, just for one time, you can obtain Immersion Rewards which includes Planar Ornaments. Each World has its own unique rewards, so if you want the Planar Ornaments you can exchange them here.
You need to exchange 40 Trailblaze Power or 1 Immersifier to obtain the rewards. This cost is the same for all Worlds.
8. Use up Cosmic Fragments before the Boss fight
In the Respite area right before a Boss, you can talk to Herta and consume Cosmic Fragments to enhance your Blessings. You can do this as many times, so be sure to use up all your Cosmic Fragments before you enter the Boss fight.
9. Defeat the Boss
Once you defeat the final boss, you complete the challenge and earn your rewards. In addition to the First-Time Clearance Rewards, you can get Ability Points and points for the weekly bonus.
Simulated Universe Tips
Always Check The Boss's Weakness
Before entering the Simulated Universe, you can see the stats of the Bosses and elite enemies. There are many types of elite enemies and they spawn randomly but the Boss is fixed and also very powerful, so assemble your team based on the Boss's weaknesses.
Add Team Member In Respite Area
You can only take 4 characters when you enter the Simulated Universe, but you can add 1 character in each of the Respite areas. You can always switch between the characters you added, so you may want an additional DPS of a different combat type.
Choose Blessings That Match Your Team
In the Simulated Universe, you can get temporary buffs from special Blessings by defeating enemies and encountering events. There should be no disadvantages but a lot of them will have no positive effect depending on the team so make sure you check the effects when choosing.
Prioritize the Path of your DPS if you can't decide
If you can't decide which Blessing to choose, we recommend choosing one of the Path of your main DPS. It certainly won't become useless with at least some kind of advantage.
Path Resonance Should Also Match Your Team
Once you obtain 3 Blessings of the Path you chose at the beginning, you can activate "Path Resonance". The bar fills up when your characters take action and when it fills up completely you can activate it when you want during the battle. You can also choose the Path for this ability, so choose one that goes well with your team and Blessings.
Keep enhancing your Abilities and you will be able to upgrade your Path Resonance.
Include Tanks And Healers
In the Simulated Universe, you do not recover HP after battles and you can't consume items to recover either. In addition, if your character gets knocked down there aren't many ways to revive them, so you will want Tanks and Healers to increase your chances.
Healers | ||
Bailu Skill Ultimate | Natasha Skill Ultimate | Physical Trailblazer Technique *When not in battle |
Fire Trailblazer Can Also Use Healing Technique
If you have Fire Trailblazer in your team, you can use the Physical Trailblazer Technique by temporarily switching Paths to recover HP. It is a very useful way to recover outside of battle. Remember to use it after losing HP in battles or events.
Collect Many Cosmic Fragments
In the Simulated Universe, you can obtain Cosmic Fragments by defeating enemies and destroying objects. Cosmic Fragments can be used in the Respite areas to purchase and enhance Blessings, so remember to collect as many as possible.
You may want to save them for the boss
In the Respite area before a boss, you can talk to Herta to purchase or enhance Blessings. They are more expensive than buying them before this point, but it does give you more options so you may want to save them for the boss fight.
Check The Effects Of Your Curios
Once you make some progress in the Simulated Universe, you will be able to obtain Curios that have special effects. Unlike Blessings, many Curios also have disadvantages and some can only be used a certain number of times, so you need to be more careful to check the effects.
Remember To Unlock Your Abilities
After your challenge in the Simulated Universe, you obtain Ability Points according to the progress and difficulty. You can gain permanent buffs in the Simulated Universe by unlocking Abilities, so remember to constantly use your Ability Points.
Accumulate Ability Points When You First Start
The Simulated Universe can prove to be a challenge even near the beginning. You may want to run World 1 on auto-battle, or keep defeating the first elite boss in World 3 to collect Planar Ornaments and Ability Points.
