Features of Nihility Path
- Blessings that greatly enhance "DoT"
- A good match for characters inflicting Wind Shear and Shock
- Works well with Low-ranked builds
Greatly Enhances DoT!
The Blessings of Nihility enhance DoT, making them ideal for high-HP boss battles, despite being less powerful than instant damage.
Also, many characters with DoT are AoE DPS and can deal with weaker enemies quickly.
What Is DoT?
DoT (Damage Over Time) is the damage dealt by status debuffs such as Bleed, Wind Shear, Burn, and Shock. When inflicted, each time the enemy's turn comes, it takes Physical/Wind/Fire/Lightning damage. DoT can be inflicted by breaking an enemy's weakness or using specific skills.
Note! | Damage caused by Icing and Quantum Entanglement is not DoT but additional DMG, which cannot be fully enhanced by Blessings of Nihility. |

Path Resonance Inflicts 4 Debuffs On All Enemies
The Path Resonance: Nihility can apply Burn, Shock, Bleed, and 2 stacks of Wind Shear on all enemies when triggered. The base chance is unstable at 80%, and the elemental DMG is not that high, but it can maximize the blessings triggered by the DoT.
Compatible Characters & Best Nihility Team Comps
Compatible Characters
Build A Team Around Sampo
The most powerful of the DoTs is Wind Shear, which can be stacked up to 5. Sampo, who can inflict Wind Shear, is especially recommended as he is a Nihility Path that can increase DoT with Ultimate and use DoT-boosting Light Cones.
Recommended Team Comps
Sampo Serval DoT Team
DPS | DPS | Healer | Support |
---|---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() |
Role | |||
Sampo | A powerful DoT DPS. | ||
Serval | The 2nd DoT DPS. | ||
Natasha | Restores HP. | ||
Fire Trailblazer | Boosts the durability with Shield and Taunt. | ||
Description |
A team of two DoT DPS that increase DoT with blessings and Sampo's Ultimate.
Note that in the early stages, it's better to have another DPS instead of the Fire Trailblazer to save time since durability is not crucial.
Note! | Sampo is enough for dealing DoT DMG. You can replace Seval with a normal DPS. |

How To Use Path Resonance And Best Resonance Formation

Path Resonance: The Nihility
Resonance Formation | Effect |
---|---|
![]() | Spend 100 points of Energy to use this ability and resonate with the Path of Nihility, with 80% base chance to apply Burn, Shock, Bleed, and 2 stacks of Wind Shear on all enemies for 2 turn(s). |
Resonance Formation Priority
The Resonance Formation is an ability effect in the Simulated Universe and can be selected and obtained when 6/10/14 Blessings of the Nihility have been obtained.
Resonance Formation | Recommendation/Enhanced Effect |
---|---|
![]() | ★★★ When using Path Resonance, increases the base chance of applying statuses by 100% and the duration of statuses by 1 turn, and adds 1 stack to all stackable statuses. |
![]() | ★★・ When entering battle, Path Resonance regenerates 40% Energy. When an enemy receives DoT, Path Resonance additionally regenerates 2% Energy. |
![]() | ★★・ The attacks of Path Resonance: The Nihility have 100% base chance to inflict 2 stacks of Confusion and 2 stacks of Devoid on all enemies for 2 turn(s). Confusion: When enemies are Weakness Broken, every stack of Confusion will cause all DoTs currently on the enemy to immediately deal DMG equal to 30% of their original DoT. Consumes 1 stack of Confusion. Confusion can stack up to 5 times. Devoid: Each stack reduces Toughness regeneration by 10% stacking up to 5 times. |
Priority Is To Increase The Infliction Rate
When enhancing Path Resonance, start with the Four Roots of Doubt. It makes the DoT infliction stable and increases its duration and limit of stacks, greatly improving its usability.
For the second one, you can choose "Outsider" to regenerate Energy or "Suffering and Sunshine" for bonus effects of Weakness Break.
Note! | Choose "Suffering and Sunshine" if you have "The Doctor's Robe" that regenerates energy. Otherwise, choose "Outsider." |
