Table of Contents

Explanation For Each Stat

Basic Stats

ATK

Basic stat for firepower that directly affects most characters' damage.

DEF

Basic durability stat that can significantly impact damage for some characters, such as Fire Trailblazer.

Max HP

Basic durability stat that affects the Outgoing Healing of most healers.

SPD

Determines the Action Order at the battle's start and the interval between actions.

Advanced Stats¥

CRIT Rate・CRIT DMG

The essential stats to increase the DMG of all characters, especially DPS, in the case without the character or equipment triggers a CRIT Hit, Rate : Damage = 1 : 2 is efficient.

Break Effect

Affects the amount of damage, DoT, and action delay when an enemy's Toughness reaches 0 and a Weakness Break occurs. It does not affect the DMG to Toughness caused by attacks.

Outgoing Healing

Healing Buff. It affects the target's recovery, regardless of whether it is the Healer or an ally. It refers to the status of the Healer, not the recipient.

Energy

It is the amount of Energy required to activate Ultimate. Maximum Energy = Energy consumption required to activate Ultimate and cannot be exceeded. The Energy required is fixed for each character and cannot be altered by skills or buffs.

Energy Regeneration Rate

This status adjusts the amount of Energy gained from attacks and skills. The default is 100%, and increasing it can boost the turnover rate of Ultimate. When restoring Energy for an ally, the recipient's value is used as a reference.

Effect Hit Rate・Effect RES

The stats affect the probability of inflicting or receiving debuffs. Effect Hit Rate increases the chance of applying debuffs, while Effect RES decreases the chance of receiving debuffs. It does not impact buffs or the chances of removing buffs or debuffs.

Damage Stats

Element DMG

The stat affects the damage of each element. Every character only deals damage with a single element, making it efficient to increase element damage to boost firepower.

Element RES

The status reduces damage from attacks of specific elements. It is 0% and can only be increased through special means.

How To Increase Damage Efficiently

Check The Basic Stats To Be Referred To

While most characters deal DMG based on their ATK, Preservation characters have their DMG increased by DEF. Additionally, some Light Cones convert Max HP and Speed into DMG buffs. Therefore, it is vital to check the character's basic stats to determine the most suitable way to increase their DMG.

Point! For example, the durability value of the Shield granted by the Skill of "March 7th" refers to her defense, so raising her defense will also increase the durability value of the Shield.

Maintain A Balance While Raising Multiple Stats

The damage calculation in Honkai: Star Rail is based on multiplying various stats and buffs. Increasing multiple stats in a balanced manner is more efficient than significantly increasing any one stat. Characters who deal additional or extra damage can increase their firepower efficiently with each damage buff.

Effects of the same type are added together, while effects of different types are multiplied.

Increase CRIT Hit Related Stats

▲ CRIT Rate & CRIT DMG can be enhanced with the Body Relics

Equipment and buffs can significantly increase CRIT DMG, and damage can be efficiently increased as long as CRIT Hit occurs. Except for some characters and equipment triggered by CRIT Hit, it is efficient to aim for Rate:DMG = 1:2.

Increase Element DMG With Spheres

Increasing elemental DMG can boost firepower. Planar Ornament's Sphere may have corresponding elemental damage attached to its Main Effects, so DPS should equip Spheres with the corresponding elemental DMG.
