How to Defeat Ivy
Destroy the Yellow Bulbs
Hitting its weak spots will help you conserve your ammo. If you're running low, hit one of these bulbs to stagger it then safely run and pass.
Use Flame Weapons
Plants are naturally prone to being burned, thus using flame-based weapons like the Grenade launcher with flame rounds, or the Flamethrower are effective ways to defeat the Ivy.

Its Bite Causes Instant Death
This attack can cause instant death regardless of how much health the player has. Avoid being grabbed at all costs and make sure to attack first.
