How the Pity System Works (Gacha)
S-Rank Guaranteed at 90 Pulls
In NTE's Standard Gacha, an S-Rank character is guaranteed on the 90th pull. If you haven't pulled an S-Rank character after 89 consecutive Dice rolls, your Piece will not move on your 90th roll. Instead, you will instantly receive the featured S-Rank character.
S-Rank Probability Increases After 70 Pulls (Soft Pity)
If you don't pull an S-Rank character by your 70th consecutive roll, the game triggers a Board Modification, massively increasing the probability of landing on an S-Rank character on every subsequent Dice roll.

Base Drop Rates by Rarity
The base probability of pulling an S-Rank character on a standard board is extremely low (0.99%). However, because NTE uses a board game-style gacha, your overall chances include both direct character pulls and Arcs. Here is the full breakdown of item drop rates:

Drop Rates from Chest Tiles
During your gacha rolls, your Piece may land on a Chest Tile. Opening these chests gives you a chance to obtain an S-Rank character! You have a 0.2% chance from an Apprentice Chest and a 3% chance from a Hero Chest.

Duplicate Character Conversion System
If you pull a character you already own, the duplicate is automatically converted into Mind Shards and Warp Pieces.
For S-Rank characters, your 2nd through 7th duplicates will yield 1 Mind Shard and 40 Warp Pieces. From your 8th duplicate onward, you will only receive 80 Warp Pieces.
