Purchase With Starlight Crystals
Using Starlight Crystals is the most common way you can do to get Compasses of Memory. This will require 160 Starlight Crystals per one Compass of Memory.
How to Farm Starlight Crystals
Reward From Events
Events can include Compasses of Memory as part of its rewards! You can check which event has them for rewards through the Events tab in the game.
Get From Fate Exchange
Another stable way of getting Compasses of Memory is by exchanging for them at the Fate Exchange in the Shop. You can either use Threads of Fate or Threads of Promise to get them.
Buy From Rift Shop
Compass of Memory is among the items you can exchange for with Rift Tokens at the Rift Shop. However, there's only a limited amount that you guy per certain period of time.
Purchase Paid Packs
There are multiple Packs that include Compass of Memory. However, purchasing Packs will require real life money. It cannot be bought with any currency within the game.
Compass of Memory Uses
Pull on the Limited-Time Artifact Banner
Compass of Memory is used to pull on the limited-time Artifact banner. It cannot be used on any character banner or the standard Artifact banner.
Cannot be Used on Promised Crest
As stated above, Compass of Memory cannot be used on the standard Artifact banner "Promised Crest". This is due to the banner using Compass of Promise to pull.
Difference Between Pull Currencies

Gacha currencies can only be used for their specific banner. They are not interchangeable and there is no current way to convert one to the other.
