How to Cook

Steps on How to Cook

1
Go to Cooking in the main menu.
2
Select the dish or recipe that you want to cook.
3
Start cooking using your available ingredients.

The main menu includes a cooking system for food. Use a mix of monster materials and other produce to make dishes, which will also provide different attribute effects to your characters.

Some Ingredients Can Be Changed

Change Ingredient

A circular arrow in the upper-right corner of an item means that you can swap it for something else. Just simply click the icon to pick a new material. Keep in mind that you can only select replacements from the same category, and you cannot switch it to an entirely different type of object.

Cooking Unlocked in Episode 1

The Cooking feature is unlocked by progressing through the "Healthy Meals" quest, a Side Quest from the early part of Episode 1.

How to Unlock Recipes

Purchase from NPCs

Recipe Rating

Price
(Gray)50,000
★★ (Green)50,000
★★★ (Blue)150,000 - 200,000

The prices for cooking recipes may vary according to their ranking. 3-Star recipes are the most expensive, so make sure to be mindful about purchasing them early in the game.

Brownie is on the Left Side of Hananis

You can check Brownie's location on the map image above. You can also opt to use the tracker.

Reward from the Main Quest

Some Main Quest rewards include Cooking recipes. Items such as the "Minotaur Steak Burger," obtainable early in Episode 2, have the same effect as the store-bought recipes, so make use of them if you want to save Gold.

Can Be Obtained Through Events

Cooking recipes may sometimes be included in event rewards. Some recipes can't be bought in the shop, so be sure to check the event rewards.

Recommended Recipes & Effects

Legendary Golden Chicken

IngredientsEffects
Goblin-Style Sausage
Goblin-Style Spices
Tortoiseshell Walnut
Max HP +11%
ATK +8.25%
Stamina Consumption -13.75%

Main dishes enhance your health, strength, and energy usage. Because all recipes within the same tier provide identical bonuses, the smartest approach is to select meals based on which ingredients are the easiest to collect.

Swamp Odong Seeds Honey Pancake

Ingredients効果
Gobla Berry
Goblin Gumweed
Crystal Bloom
DEF +8.25%
Elemental Weakness DMG +16.5%
Capture Proficiency +825

It is also recommended to pair the Legendary Golden Chicken with the Swamp Odong Seeds Honey Pancake, since the required ingredients do not overlap with each other, you can craft it using only materials dropped by goblin-type monsters.

Berritastic Shaved Ice

This drink can revive fallen characters. It can also be used in battle as well. This drink is highly recommended to prepare prior to exploring and entering challenges in the game.

When to Use Cooking

Can Be Used In Paths Challenges

The dishes that you have cooked will help you with your HP and attack buff during the Path and Conquest challenges. Since these contents can be skipped once you clear it for the first time, it is still worth preparing your dish beforehand, especially if your characters are not yet well-built.

Use During Main Quest

The main story bosses are powerful, and the time limits are tight. Buffs from dishes are an important element for progressing through the story smoothly.

When to Use The Dishes

Temporarily Buff Characters

Cooking provides temporary character enhancement items that last for 30 minutes. These are consumables that grant a buff upon use and are consumed in the process.

Entree and Side Dish

Cooking includes Entrees and Sides, and both can be used simultaneously. Since they provide different stat enhancements, be sure to check their effects before use.

Same Effect Type Will Be Replaced

While the effects of Entrees and Sides can be active at the same time, identical effects cannot stack. For example, activating multiple Entree effects will cause the previous effect to be overwritten, resulting in the loss of the original buff.

Drinks Revive Fallen Characters

Unlike Cooking, Drinks are not used as buff items. When you press the button (key) to take control of an incapacitated ally, a prompt will appear allowing you to revive them using a Drink.
