How to Build Your Teams

Create a Well-Balanced Party

The key to creating a team in Mongil is to have a good balance of Attackers, Destroyers, and Supports in your party. A poorly balanced team can lead to difficulties in clearing high-level content.

Sample Recommended Team Comp

This sample team comp can handle Main Quest progression and other types of content. Rotate between your characters in order to cycle through their Switch Skills.

Match Elements in Your Team

All characters can apply an Element DMG Affliction debuff based on their Element. Not only will it boost the damage of the active character, but it will also increase the damage done by your whole team.

Element DMG Affliction Element is Fixed

The Element DMG Affliction debuff has a fixed effect magnitude and duration regardless of how much you have strengthened the character. A 15% Affliction is powerful, so even if you are only enhancing a single character, it provides significant benefits to the team.

Be Mindful of the Order

Characters such as Supports can use their Switch Skill to buff the next character coming in. Since characters generally rotate in a certain order, it's recommended to place an attacker right after the character that can buff.

Can Only Switch to a Specific Character

It is also possible to switch to a specific character instead of following the rotation order. This adds a new challenge to combat. It's generally recommended to simply switch to the next character in line in your team.
