Which difficulty should you choose in Mongil: Star Dive? Guide includes recommended difficulty, differences, and how to change it.
Which Difficulty Should You Choose?
We Recommend Path of Dawn (Casual)

When you start the game, a difficulty selection screen will appear. Since you can change the difficulty later in the settings, it's recommended to choose "Path of Dawn," which lowers enemy durability and allows you to proceed through the tutorial smoothly.
No Difference in Rewards
The only thing that changes with the difficulty selection is the story's difficulty. There is no change in rewards, so Path of Dawn is recommended for both those who are not used to action games and those who want to progress quickly.
You Can Also Change the Difficulty Later

If you want to enjoy the story, it's also recommended to change the difficulty. By selecting "Path of Dawn" in the difficulty selection under "Controls" in the settings, the enemies in the Main Quest will be weakened.
