What is Race Minigame?
A Minigame About Chasing a Target

Races in the Main Story are minigames where you chase a fleeing target. If you fall too far behind, the attempt will fail and restart, so proceed with caution.
Tip! | Once a Story Race Minigame is cleared, it cannot be replayed. |
|---|
There Are Also Races Using Monsterlings

After clearing Main Story Episode 1, you can accept the Side Quest "Run! Monsters!", which unlocks Monsterling Races. These races are seasonal content where you can obtain Monsterling training materials and other rewards.
The NPC is to the East in Hananis

The Side Quest "Run! Monsters!" progresses by speaking with the NPC Jetset, located on the right side of Hananis.

Race Minigame Tips
Tips for Story Races
Pick Up Boost Orbs

Collecting the light blue orbs placed along the Track temporarily increases your character’s speed. Make sure to pick up these boost items to close the gap with the target.
Avoid Hitting Bombs

If you hit the bombs placed along the Track, you will be incapacitated for a short time. Consecutive hits will significantly increase the distance from the target, increasing the likelihood of failure, so avoid them whenever possible.
Tip! | If you hit a bomb while boosted, the boost effect will be canceled, and you will be incapacitated for a short period. |
|---|
Strategy Tips for Monsterling Races
Use Monsterlings with Entry Bonuses

Each Track has an Entry Bonus, and you can earn a score bonus by using the corresponding Monsterling. To achieve a high score, we recommended to racing with a bonus Monsterling.
Tip! | Bonus multipliers vary even among eligible Monsterlings, so it is recommended to race with the one that provides the highest multiplier. |
|---|
Pick Up Boost Orbs

Monsterling Races also feature the same boost items as Story Races. To reduce your completion time, collect the light blue boost orbs placed along the Track.
Collect the Coins

In Monsterling Races, each Track features Coin collection missions. You will receive rewards for reaching the goal after collecting a certain number of Coins, so be sure to gather as many as you can.
Overcome Each Track's Gimmicks

In Monsterling Races, each Track features unique gimmicks. Failing a gimmick will incapacitate you for a short time, resulting in time loss, so navigate each gimmick successfully to achieve a faster time.
