Monsterling Combining is a system where you combine two Monsterlings to acquire new types of monsters or reroll for new Traits. Repeat Combining to obtain powerful Monsterlings.
Combining Unlocks in Early Episode 1
Monsterling Combining unlocks immediately after the reconstruction of Breezeville. There's no need to rush into Combining right after it's unlocked.
Consumes 2 Combined Monsterlings
The two monsters used in Monsterling Combining will both disappear after the process. Be sure to lock any Monsterlings you might use regularly.
Some Combinations Create Mutants
With Monsterling Combining, if you combine a specific pair, a Mutation will be added to the possible results. Some Mutations can only be obtained through Monsterling Combining, so it's recommended to capture a wide variety of Monsterlings to try different combinations.
Usually Results in One of the Parent Monsters
In Monsterling Combining, the result is usually one of the two parent monsters. Combining indiscriminately is not recommended.
Traits Can Be Carried Over
It is also possible to carry over Traits from the source monsters to the resulting Monsterling. Tap the Traits you want to keep from the list to lock them in and confirm they will be carried over.

To lock and carry over Traits, you need the special item Premium Salmon Puree. It can be obtained from the Rift Shop or from paid packs.
Farming for Traits Can Be Done Later
Farming for Traits through Monsterling Combining is part of the endgame contents in Mongil. You should start doing it once you've accumulated enough high-rank Monsterlings and Puree.

El Dorado Guardian is an extremely powerful Monsterling for boss battles that you can aim to combine relatively early in the game. Once the Custos Conquest is unlocked, check the steps required for Combining it.
How to Get El Dorado Guardian
- Combine Tunneler Mole and Digger Mole
- Capture Moley Mole
- Combine Moley Mole and Gold Digger Mole
- Combine Gold Digger Moley Mole and Custos
If you combine Moley Mole with the Gold Digger Mole you just combined, you have a chance to combine "Gold Digger Moley Mole".
You can obtain El Dorado Guardian monsterling by combining Custo and Gold Digger Moley Mole.
You can obtain Custos's Monsterling as a direct drop from its Conquest, but you can also exchange for a box in the Conquest Shop that guarantees one per week. This means you can attempt the Combining even while farming other bosses.
