What Is The Mystery Merchant?
Sells Random Items For Gems
The Mystery Merchant is a new vendor that will sell you random items for a price. There is no way to know what item you'll get. This merchant relies a lot on the player's luck to get a good item!
Can Sell You More Items
The Mystery Merchant seems to have more item slots that are locked behind prerequisites. If you complete and meet the requirements, you might be able to choose from more items the next time you visit!
How To Use Mystery Merchant
Step 1: Talk to Vendor To Buy Items
In order to purchase items from the Mystery Merchant, you must first approach and talk to them. They will then show you their wares.
Divided Into Categories
Keep in mind that the merchant will divide the items into different categories. This will allow you to dial in on a particular item you want to roll for. You can choose to get a random armor, weapon, artifact, or something else!
Potential Power Is Displayed
The potential power of the item in question will be displayed. This will show you if the item you're looking for is of a certain power range, guaranteeing that you won't waste your hard earned gems on the purchase!
Slots Do Not Refresh
After purchasing an item from the vendor, it will not refresh with a new item. In order to get new items from the vendor, you will need to refresh the items by restocking.
Step 2: Restock Items Using Emeralds
If you do not find anything that tickles your fancy, or you run out of items to buy, you can opt to restock the merchant by handing over a few gems! This will change the stocks for sale in order to help you keep looking around!
Cost Increases Each Time Used
The cost for restocking the vendor's items will increase each time you use it. However, the cost will reset once you clear a mission!
How To Unlock The Mystery Merchant
Unlocked In The Creeping Winter DLC
This merchant will be available as part of the Creeping Winter DLC. Aside from the new merchants, this DLC will also feature new items such as weapons and armor, a new biome, new enemies, and more!
