Arch Illager / Heart Of Ender - Final Boss Overview
Main Antagonist of the Game
The Arch-Illager is the main antagonist of the game. Shunned by society, this lowly Illager stumbles upon the mysterious Orb of Dominance, granting him unimaginable powers, and control over other Illagers!
Found In Obsidian Pinnacle
The Arch-Illager is found in the Obsidian Pinnacle biome. This dungeon is filled with the Arch-Illager's minions, including Redstone Golems and Evokers! Make sure to be well-equipped before venturing into this area!

The Arch-Illager's fight is separated into two parts. The first phase will have you face the Arch Illager, while the second phase will pit you against the Heart of Ender.
Arch Illager - How To Beat Final Boss
Use Ranged Attacks To Damage
The Arch-Illager likes to teleport around the map and pepper you with projectile attacks. Your best bet is to use ranged attacks to deal damage to him without wasting time running around to get within melee range!
Will Summon Mobs Of Enemies
The Arch-Illager will summon a large number of enemies from time to try and overwhelm you. However, you can easily stay out of the enemy's range by using the spring-loaded platforms to quickly relocate!
Use Crowd Control Attacks
You can also opt to use artifacts or enchantments that allow you to deal AoE damage. This will allow you to control large crowds of enemies if you find yourself in a tight spot.
Fires Projectiles
The Arch-Illager will also constantly fire projectiles in a fan-like pattern toward you. With all of the chaos happening on-screen, these projectiles may be difficult to spot. However, since they move quite slowly, they can easily be dodged.
Heart Of Ender - How To Beat Final Boss
Appears After Arch-Illager Fight
The Heart Of Ender will immediately appear after you defeat the Arch-Illager. This boss will have different attacks compared to the Arch-Illager so you will need to quickly change up your play style.
Ranged Attacks Recommended
Just like with the Arch-Illager, the Heart Of Ender constantly moves around the map, making it a difficult target for melee attacks. Instead it is recommended to attack from a distance. This will also allow you to preempt & dodge attacks.
Launches Purple Fireballs
The Heart Of Ender will sometimes spew out fireballs aimed at your immediate location. When these land, they will set the area on fire for a certain period of time. Avoid these flames as they can deal damage to you if you get too close!
Will Fire Purple Beams
The Heart Of Ender will usually fire beams of purple light at you. When hit, these beams will deal a ton of damage to you. However, you can evade them by using the dodge roll, or by steering clear of their path.
Prioritize Speed
The Heart Of Ender's attacks can also deal massive amounts of damage to you. At times, a well placed attack can instantly one-shot you. Increasing your mobility will ensure that you dodge these strong attacks!

If you think you have no other choice, you can jump off the map to avoid the Heart Of Ender's attack, and reset your position. Falling off the map does not count as a death, but will take away a small portion of health.
