Obsidian Pinnacle - Rune Location

The entrance to where you can find the Rune in this level is in the library area inside of the castle. This is after the 2 Redstone Monstrosity.

Can Only Be Found After Beating The Game Once

Runes are a new collectible unlocked after beating the main story once. You won't be able to find it until you beat the whole game first.

1, 3. Pursuing the Arch-Illager - Tips

Several Enemies In Your Way

Pursuing the Arch Illager is no easy task. You will need to go through multiple groups of enemies in order to reach the Arch Illager. It is advised to equip a loadout that prioritizes mobility and defense in order to survive this mission.

Use Platforms To Move Around

There will be spring-loaded platforms found around the map that you can use to move across ledges. You can use these platforms to get away from mobs that may overwhelm you. Keep in mind that enemies can use these platforms as well.

Mini Bosses May Appear

Aside from normal mobs, mini bosses such as Redstone Golems and Evokers will appear during the mission. Attack Golems at range to avoid taking much damage, and burst down Evokers to avoid getting overwhelmed!

2. Powering the Beacons - Tips

Approach Beacons To Power Them

In order for you to power the beacons, you will need to approach & interact with them. There are two beacons that you need to power. These are found on either side of the gate.

4. Defeating The Arch-Illager - Tips

Ranged Boss That Can Summon

The Arch-Illager is primarily a ranged boss that teleports around the map. It will constantly fire projectiles at you while summoning enemies, trying to overwhelm you.

5. Defeating The Heart Of Ender - Tips

Powerful Boss

The Heart of Ender is the second part of the boss fight in this mission. It will immediately appear after defeating the Arch-Illager. This boss has several powerful attacks that can instantly down you.

Arch Illager - Boss Tips

Arch-Illager - Boss Overview

The Arch-Illager is the main antagonist of the game. Corrupted by the Orb of Dominance, the Arch Illager is able to influence other Illagers, giving him several minions at his disposal.

Ranged Attacks Recommended

Due to the Arch-Illager's quick movements around the map, it would be best to opt for ranged attacks. This saves you some time as you do not need to get close to the boss to deal your damage.

Summons Mobs To Overwhelm You

The Arch-Illager will be able to summon mobs in order to trap and overwhelm you. However, you can create space between these enemies by using the spring platforms. You can also choose to use Artifacts that control crowds well such as the Corrupted Beacon.

Fires Projectiles

The Arch-Illager will fire slow moving projectiles at your position. These can take you by surprise especially if you're preoccupied by the summoned mobs. They travel slowly, which gives you enough time to spot and evade them.

Heart Of Ender - Boss Tips

Heart Of Ender - Boss Overview

The Heart Of Ender immediately appears after you defeat the Arch-Illager. It deals devastating attacks and can instantly down you if you are not careful!

Use Ranged Attacks

The Heart Of Ender likes to move around the map after each attack. It's best to use ranged attacks to avoid wasting time trying to get near the boss. Being at range will also give you the space needed should you need to avoid any of its attacks!

Prioritize Speed

The Heart Of Ender likes to chain consecutive attacks. Prioritizing speed will give you an advantage since you will be able to move around the map much faster. Consider equipping multiple Light Feathers and Speed Buff enchantments for mobility.

Fall Of The Map To Reset

One tactic you can use to avoid the one-hit attacks is to fall off the map. This will only take a chunk of your health away and does not count as a death. The boss's health will not regenerate so you can continue whittling the boss's health down.
