How To Unlock Desert Temple

Complete Cacti Canyon Story Mission

To unlock the Desert Temple mission, you first need to complete the Cacti Canyon story mission. Doing so will allow you to enter the mysterious temple in the desert!

Mission Difficulty & Rewards

This mission will have different power requirements depending on what difficulty and mode you choose. Each difficulty will give off differing rewards! Click on a difficulty below to view the different rewards!

Keep an eye for any tiles on the wall, specifically the tiles with a square-like pattern. One of these tiles can be activated to open up the door leading to the rune.

Can Only Be Found After Beating The Game Once

Runes are a new collectible unlocked after beating the main story once. You won't be able to find it until you beat the whole game first.

How To Unlock Secret Level - Lower Temple

Light 3 Beacons In Secret Area

While exploring the Desert Temple, keep an eye out for a secret entrance. Go inside & light up 3 beacons to activate the bridge & pick up the map location scroll to unlock the Lower Temple secret mission!

Get Scroll To Unlock Lower Temple

To unlock the Lower Temple secret level in Desert Temple, you need to cross the bridge & get the location scroll. Once done, you can access the Lower Temple mission from the main mission menu.

1. Proceed Through Temple - Tips

Use Wide Area Damage On Summoners

You'll encounter summoners in the Desert Temple that will bring forth hordes of mobs. Use area damage to take care of the mobs and the summoner all at once.

Keep Away From Spirit Pillars

There will be dark blue spirits in the dungeon that will summon pillars of white fire. Make sure to avoid the ground where they're summoning the pillars so you won't take damage.

Roll To Avoid Dungeon Obstacles

There are dungeon obstacles in the Desert Temple such as pushing blocks & rotating blades. These will damage you if you're hit, so roll forward quickly to prevent your HP from going down.

Find Gold Key Golem - Tips

Follow Marker To Locate Key Golem

Finding the gold Key Golem won't be that had. Just follow your yellow marker and it'll lead you to the location of the gold Key Golem. Pick it up and avoid enemy fire so you won't drop it.

Desert Temple - Boss Tips

Nameless One - Boss Overview

The Nameless One is the boss you'll encounter and fight in the Desert Temple. It has several minions and throws ranged fireballs at you to deal damage.

Throws Green Fireballs To Damage

The Nameless one is mainly stationary but its fireballs will home on you and follow you around. Be sure to keep mobile & roll away to avoid taking damage.

Summons Horde Of Shielded Skeletons

The boss will occasionally summon skeletons that bear shields. It's best to steer clear when the boss is summoning as you can get overwhelmed by the number of mobs.

Bring Powerful Ranged Weapon To Damage Boss

It's best to hit the Nameless One from a distance, especially when it is summoning its minions. It won't attack you for the duration of its summoning, giving you a few seconds to do damage.
