Highly versatile. The 416 can work in most situations and across different ranges. Adding a scope will help to extend range and accuracy of the weapon.

Best Weapon - Handgun (HG)

Magnum

The Magnum trades off high power with a slower fire rate and high recoil. Every shot packs a punch and with its added +5 damage passive skill, it's damage goes even higher.

Best Weapon - Light Machine Gun (LMG)

L86A1

Although it's not the strongest in its class, the L84A1 is a recommended LMG because of its range, accuracy, and control. It still kicks up when shot, but it's not as bad as other LMGs.

Best Weapon - Shotgun (SG)

M4

The M4 has the highest damage out of all in its class, but this is balanced by its low mobility. It's a powerful weapon and its reload speed is offset after every kill with its +10 reload speed passive.

Best Weapon - Sub Machine Gun (SMG)

MP5

At short-range, the MP5 is a beast with its high damage.. However, anything beyond short-range and it becomes less effective with its low accuracy and mobility.

Best Weapon - Sniper Rifle (SR)

Recon-A1

Highly agile, the Recon-A1 offers high mobility, range, and accuracy. Recoil isn't that bad, providing breathing space for users when they miss shots. It does have a slow reload speed.

Best Weapon - DMR

FRF2

With the highest range and accuracy out of all DMRs, the DMR is made for mid- to long-range engagements. Although since it's a bolt-action DMR, it's made to be a one-shot-kill weapon.

Weapon Evaluation Criteria

Weapon Evaluation Criteria

The following weapons were selected to be on this list based on the following criteria:

Versatility

The best weapons must also be able to let the player adapt to different situations, whether it be in long-range, or close combat situations. These weapons must allow players to be a threat at any given circumstance.

High Damage Or Fire Rate

The best weapons in the game must also be able to dish out major damage, either by being able to deal tons of damage, or by unloading bullets at a fast rate.

High Accuracy Or Low Recoil

A great weapon must not only be able to deal high damage, but also hit its target consistently. Guns with a high accuracy, or low recoil are selected because of this.

Beginner-Friendly

In the later section of the article, weapons selected must be easy to use or in other words, beginner-friendly. These weapons must be able to allow new players to play competitively.

My problem with the 416 that I have is it won't take a suppressor. Hard on stealth missions, I tend to prefer.
